My wife's rt-pcr just received shows covid positive with CT vale 20. She is completing 16 weeks pregnancy. She developed fever around 2AM yesterday. So it has been almost 29 hours past now. In past 29 hours, 1st 2 doses were Dolo 650 in interval of 5 hour. Within this time frame, fever was hovering around 101-102.5. Next 3 doses were Paracetamol 500 in interval of 5 hours. Now since 11 pm yesterday (in past 8 hours) fever is in range of 98.6-100.5 with 99.4 currently.
Right now she is under home isolation and I wish to avoid her admission to hospital as she can be better cared at home in family's presence.
My concern is how should I go with her Covid medication in 16 weeks pregnancy. Please suggest
1. Should I continue with Paracetamol every 5 hours or should I give SOS basis?
2. Can I also give her antibiotic prescribed to other covid patients.
3. I have stopped vitamins and folate tablets for now. Should I resume giving that or avoid?
Any other information I need to take care of.

How is her oxygen Saturation? Is she maintaining SpO2 well? Is there chest pain? What about cough? Detailed history is required to determine the severity and provide apt management. Dolo 650 SOS(not to be repeated before 6 hours) can be given for fever. Continue the supplements she is on. Home isolation may be enough. Consult if and when required.
You should continue giving vitamins, Paracetamol is to ve given thrice a day irrespective of Fever for at least 3 days.
Give her a proper healthy diet.
If she is feeling well, ask her to walk around.
Keep the environment positive for her and the baby.
Let her drink plenty of water.
Avoid cold water and drinks.
Next Steps
For detailed history and further management. Please consult. Thanks
You may keep her at home in isolation till her vitals like SpO2, Blood Pressure, Temperature are within normal but treatment must be in consultation with a qualified physician linked with her physical examination.
