10 days old baby cord not falling off
Hi please let me know what could be the reason for cord not falling off even after 10 days of birth?

The umbilical cord usually falls off between the 7th and 14th day. Please check for any discharge, redness, or swelling. If possible, share an image for a better assessment.
Once the cord has fallen off, keep the area clean and dry. Avoid using talcum powder, ointments, or creams.
If you notice any changes in or around the area, consult your pediatrician.
