Smoking 10 cigarettes a day for 8 months is a relatively short and moderate exposure. The good news is that you've already quit, which is the most important thing. The cancer risk from this level of exposure is very low — significant smoking-related cancer risk is generally associated with decades of heavy smoking. Your body begins to repair itself within weeks of quitting, and the risk continues to decline the longer you stay smoke-free.
Next Steps
Stay smoke-free — this is the single best thing you can do. Maintain a healthy lifestyle with exercise and a balanced diet. No special cancer screening is needed for this exposure level. Please consult me directly on Practo for a detailed evaluation.

Your risk of cancer from 8 months is very low, since you've quit. Focus on healthy habits. A consultation can discuss further. Feel free to book one.

Risk is very low. Besides cigarrete smoking is a major risk factor for cancer, but passive exposure to cigarrete smoke, environmental pollution, exposure to dust, etc, are other risk factors.
