My wife was not able to conceive for the last 2 years due to PCOD issue. We are from Bangalore and visited many doctors during this time. Later we were referred by my friend to consult with Dr. Akhila

Our entire consultation was our video call, absolutely in detailed discussion, anytime reachable.

Doctor went into actual root cause before treating Pc od , within 2 months of medicines, my wife conceived and delivered baby now.

The only regret is that Dr. Akhila is based out of Chennai and not in Bangalore to deliver baby. I strongly recommend Dr. Akhila

Dr. Akhila is someone whom I wish only the best for. She has treated me and my mother. She was my mother's gynae. She treated my mother for her uterine fibroids and also her hysterectomy. She was one of those doctors who has walked in to a room and the entire space would suddenly light up. She was also friendly and open minded. She indulged my parents' wishes to show me the removed uterus since I was interested in science and particularly medicine. Years later when the cysts over my ovaries were diagnosed, we went to her straight. We had no doubt that she was the right doctor for me as well. After trying to reduce the cyst through medication, she performed the cystectomy on me so skillfully that no cyst tissue was left behind and even after ten years I can say that I have a healthy reproductive system. She always puts her patients first and makes sure that they get the best treatment.

Dr. Akila is gem of a person and a good human being. She really listens and cares for her patients.

I first met her in Westminster healthcare for a minor cyst in my breast. She immediately fixed the issue and I came out of it like a cake walk.

Then, I visited her in her private clinics in Kilpauk and Taylors road in 2018 and beginning of 2019, for my fibroids treatment. But unfortunately, there was not much improvement. She put me on different medications including birth control pills and ulipristal and too much medications started affecting my kidney and liver. Based on my experience, I would not suggest her for uterine fibroid treatment.

But definitely, she is the go to doctor for pregnancy.
