I consulted Dr. Rufus Vasanth for my mother’s severe knee osteoarthritis. We were very worried about surgery. I went to visit Rufus ortho clinic last week for my knee pain issue. When I explained about my knee pain issues, he suggested taking X-rays and BMD tests (How strong your bone) which cost of Rs. 1000. ******** ** ** **** ****** *** ****** *** *** ** ********* ******* ****** ** ** ***** *** ****** ***** ****** **** **** ** *** **** *** *** **** *** ****** ** ****** **** ******* He suggested to take an MRI near Anna Nagar branch. I asked him that shall I take MRI near my home? Suddenly he replied as you take anywhere ****** ***** **** ******** ******* ***** *** * *** ** ********** **** ***** ***** ******** ** ***** When, I ask the cost of MRI from his suggested lab, it cost around 5000, *** ** ***** **** ****** ** **** ***** *** *** *********** I am really dissatisfied with Rufus doctor. I didn't expect this.

Bow-legged knees due to old arthritis. Dr Rufus did total knee replacement with correction of deformity. Leg is straight now. Walked without walker in 5 days. Robotic planning helped a lot.

I had a swelling on my wrist for 2 years. Diagnosed as ganglion cyst. Dr Rufus did arthroscopic ganglion excision. The surgery took 20 minutes. No recurrence for 1 year now. No visible scar. He also checked if it was connected to the joint. Excellent work for hand cysts.

My 12-year-old daughter had mild scoliosis - spine curve. Dr Rufus did not suggest surgery. He prescribed custom brace Schroth exercises and monitors every 3 months with X-ray. Curve is stable now. He is very good with teenagers and explains to parents calmly.
