Physiocure PT is a boutique physiotherapy center located conveniently on 27th main road, HSR layout. It is in a building on the second floor right opposite the Roadrift cafe. It is not to be confused with another place with the same name in HSR. It ends with 'PT'. You would need to park the car on the road where there is plenty of space and getup about 10 steps to get to the elevator. The first thing you would notice is that the place is kept immaculate and very well organized. It has a tiny magazine stand, a reception desk, and two exercise areas with everything one would need.
This place is everything a big hospital is not. It was started about 18 months ago and is completely run by Dr. Shikha Sharma. There is almost no waiting time at all. Everything goes as per schedule. The best part is that she sees only one patient at a time and dedicates a full hour per session. It is very pleasing to see such an establishment in Bangalore. We shell out loads of money in fancy hospitals to be waiting like we have nothing better to do.
I had a complete ACL tear while playing soccer and I went to Dr. Shikha for rehabilitation. It doesnt take long before you realize that Dr Shikha is completely adept at what she is doing. She first took time to peruse all my medical documents and scan reports. Post this, she took atleast 20 minutes to make a good assessment of my situation and pain areas. Everystep of the examination, she would check with me on if I was experiencing pain or stiffness. They seem to be indicators on how much I could do and how much she would be able to push me. Each routine would start with her supporting the weight first and slowly she would ease into just guiding it with a finger or two. Nothing is rushed, nothing is painful and the routines are all progressive.
It doesn't matter if you go to the clinic at 9 am or show up after a long day at 7pm, Dr. Shikha is extremely patient and is consistent on how the session is conducted. She carefully examines and gives her full attention during the hour. She would provide a scientific explanation on why an exercise is needed and how it can help. For hours of therapy, I would just talk with her about different anatomical parts around my knee - quads, hamstrings, calf, glutes and body posturing and she would patiently and enthusiastically answer all my questions. Her smile is infectious and you will definitely return back till you get better.
Dr. Shikha has worked in the US prior to starting shop here. Perhaps, this is what makes her so different from the rest. This is without doubt one of the best PT centers I have been to. I actively play sports and I have had three surgeries in the past 4 years, so I visited quite a few centers around Bangalore. This place is like striking gold if you are serious about physio, which you should be. Its looking at places like these that you would get frustrated about doctors - They give you 2 minutes of their time, charge twice and the attitude is free of cost. Good PT centers like these are invaluable and one should be shelling out lot more money for the same.

*** ****** ****** ** * ******* ************* What makes her the best Physiotherapist is the fact that she is unbelievably kind and takes full responsibility of curing the patient's ailment.
I visited her in October 2017 for my knee injury. I had torn my Medial patellofemoral Ligament in an accident and had suffered two fractures.
I was in great distress as I was told by multiple Orthopedic specialists that I would never be able to play sports at competitive level with my full force. I was disheartened that this injury would bring my sports career to a grinding halt. The most important attribute of a physiotherapist is to instill optimism in a dejected patient. She not only made me optimistic about a full recovery but also encouraged me to resume my sports within a couple of months. That sounded like music to my ears! In all my appointments she has been very patient and made sure that I improved after each session.
I have been going to her for 7 months and I am extremely glad that I am able to play now. She has helped me in my tough phase and I can't thank her enough for that. She belongs to the elite class of Physiotherapists who are not just brilliant professionals but great human beings too. It would suffice to say that she has a great fan-following!
The clinic has great ambiance. She dedicates an hour to the patient and there is no wait time. The appointments are very well managed.
If you are looking for a STAR PHYSIO, then head straight to PhysioCure PT
in HSR. You will never want to see another physio once you meet this star!!

I went to Dr. Shikha after looking at strong positive reviews. My experience so far has been in line with those reviews. She took her time to assess my condition and was able to diagnose my issue. During the therapy, she keeps checking for discomfort, if any. She explains everything in detail and with patience. I still have 1 or 2 sessions, but already I am feeling much better.
Visited For Hand PainNeck Pain
i was suffering with chronic neck pain since September 2016 which continued for an year.Being just 24years old and an IT professional, my life was just a hell. I got multiple MRIs ,scans nd other tests done, but they revealed nothing. Neurologists, orthopaedics, chiropractors nobody was able to suggest me satisfactory remedie for the 'unknown chronic issue' i had. I tried IFT, ultrasounds as well as exercises prescribed by other physiotherapists too but didn't work. Then through practo i came to know regarding Dr Shikha who was specialist in manual therapy. She took my case willingly as a challenge and started working on my neck n shoulder region. Initially results were not as expected since the pain was very chronic, but she didn't loose hope . She continued her therapy for months and taught me specific exercises to strengthen my core. Slowly it started to work n today i am 90%pain free . My frequency of visiting her clinic gradually got changed from daily to just once a month now .I know under her supervision,i will be 100% cured one day. In a nutshell, she brought me back to my active life and i owe her a lot.
Visited For Shoulder Pain

It was my first ever exposure to physiotherapy and I was very sceptical about it in the beginning. I had approached quite a few physicians and physiotherapists to know the actual problem but nobody was able to explain it in the way Dr Shikha did. She made sure that I understand the cause and reason of the unusual pain that I was going through. She was able to diagnose the actual issue in the very first meeting. I was still unsure of how the physiotherapy sessions will help me come out of it. At various other physiotherapy clinics, i was told that continuous sessions will be required for which i will have to pay a lot of money. Unlike them, Dr Shikha started with the minimal number of sessions per week and clearly her intent and emphasis was to enable me to do the exercises at home rather than scheduling unnecessary sessions. Within 3-4 sessions, i felt a lot of improvement and then she helped me to completely get rid of the pain in my shoulder that i was going through for a very long period of time. I can surely vouch for her authenticity and expertise in diagnosis and treatment of the pain! Really appreciate her passion and willingness to help me through the recovery.

Problem :Bilateral Shoulder impingement /thoracic instability, scapular grinding . MRI scan showed reduction in acromion space due to which I was unable to raise both my hands above shoulder level.completely dependent on others for basic daily activities.
Started treatment in June 2016 , and as of till date, I have resumed all normal activities like taking bath on my own, cooking, and going to office & able to carry laptop bag.I have also started with swimming, can travel solo lifting luggages ,and have successfully returned back to normal life which seemed "impossible" few months back.
Shikha's patience , commitment and optimism has not just been encouraging but she has been the sole reason to put my life back on track.
*** ** ********* ************** Her exhaustive and detailed awareness of human anatomy amazes me ! She knows the root cause of every aching muscle and yes she has the power to treat you and make you feel better in the shortest possible time ie one session and you can feel the difference.
She has been closely working on my core strengthening, posture correction and her exercise driven approach is very appreciable.
She is an expert in myofascial release, joint mobilization and deep tissue release.
She identified the underlying problem for my shoulder pain and my 8 years old migraine problem which came out to be co related. Her top notch exercises for neck, shoulder and upper back has not just made me capable of handling migraine attacks , I have also stopped taking painkiller ever since i started visiting her. ***** * ***** ***** ***** ******* ********* ******* ** ******* ** ********* ** **** ****** ********* * *** ******* *** ****** ** *** *** **** ***** *** *** **** *************** ** ********** She is definitely an asset for Bengaluru.
Therapists like Shikha are rare to find and I am glad that I came across her at the right point of time.
