Consulted Dr Anupama for my kid. Before taking us onboard they explained us in detail the roadmap and also prepared us for the long journey ahead. With the solid ground-work in place we were onboarded to a journey which really helped our kid. Extremely satisfied with his progress. We didnt opt for in-centre therapy as daily commute from our location would have been an issue. But we were guided well by the therapists. Parent's training really helped as parents are the best guide/teacher for the kid. It was not a very smooth ride (and one shouldnt expect it to be smooth) but we had their guidance at every step. We saw improvements in every aspect. Be it fine motor skill, gross motor skill, emotional and social development and also academic improvement.

We started our journey with CBT2 when our kid was 3 years 6 months old. We did not understand initially about the kids condition and his behaviour patterns before reaching out to CBT2. His condition was ASD with high CARS Assessment score.

We were guided properly with good amount knowledge on kids condition and future course of action.

It was hard to accept the kids condition initially but the looking at the kid we did not take a chance and immediately started our journey with CBT2.

Dr. Anupama Maruvada, an experienced professional psychologist motivated and supported us on positive way and showed us a light at the end of the tunnel through her treatment methodology.

We have to appreciate her combined efforts with us during the COVID. Despite of serious conditions outside during COVID, her continuous efforts through telephonic sessions helped us to overcome the problem and never halted the therapy.

Finally, kid got the admission to the school after 2 years of effort in December 2021. Kid showed so much of progress in academics. Socializing is a challenge but, he did progress in that as well.

We as a parent would heartfully recommend CBT2 for kids having any kind of behavioral issues.

I made a point to write this review after reading one of the client's "SO CALLED" experience with Dr. They have said several things in negative about Dr. Anupama, so negative that anyone can believe that they are right... that Autism is not reversible... live example is my son. I went to every center in Bangalore to help with my child's symptoms of Autism but all I heard was.. he has to go to SPECIAL SCHOOL. Had I believed them, i wouldn't have been so happy today. My son's CARS score was 37.5 (Severe symptoms of autism) when he was diagnosed. now his score on CARS is 15.... NORMAL. I feel like dancing whenever I think about it. He is now attending normal school ... having friends... sharing details... social.. communicating.... etc.. etc...

And one more thing that one of the parents mentioned is that the doctor is expensive. well.. I don't agree because she is providing overall stimulation of the child .... 3 hours a day.... 5 days a week. I have never seen her being reluctant to help parents. she is never seen tired.... she is always with a smile and acceptance to parents, their worries, anxieties and supports to the core.

one statement, if I have to make regarding her is.... SHE IS LIKE A MOTHER TO ALL HER CLIENTS AND THEIR PARENTS. I wonder, from where she gets all the tolerance.

So guys... don't spread rumors about a good therapist who is working only towards the children getting better. We should support someone like Dr. Anupama so she is motivated to work with full dedication.

And one last thing... she is professional.. let her speak about the field... lets not act like psychologists and judge someone so magnificent.

I met Dr Anupama early in the morning on Saturday. She asked me my issues and problem symptoms. My husband and I spent around 5 mins telling her what we felt were issues. She did not talk to the child at all. She also interpreted the issues in a very limited light - I was talking of distracted behaviour and she considered that distraction from academics and not being focussed on learning. I had to correct that.

On hearing my views, she asked me my working timings and when I mentioned long working hours, just concluded that the problem was that we were not giving enough attention to the child. It was just one statement that seemed to drive the whole discussion and she was not ready to consider any other facts of quality time spent together. * *** ******* ** *** **** **** ***** *** ***** **** *** *** ****** *********** ***** *** ********* *** ** ***** ******** *** ********** ********** She ended up suggesting mechanisms to put in place to give more attention to the child and all of those are already there as a part of our lives. I also told her of support mechanisms in place but she refused to accept that it could be useful to the child. The consequent discussions were all around the fact that I have made up mind, now whatever you say can't change it. ** *** **** ******* ** **** **** ********** ****** *** *** ****** *** ***** ****** ***** ***** *** ******** ****** *** S** *** *** **** ****** ** ** ******** *********** least of all as a professional as her manner of giving ideas was very condescending and disrespectful. I have worked closely with coaches and counsellors earlier and this is not what I had expected from a trained therapist. Hugely disappointing!

While compared to other therapy centers we liked the action plan followed in the CBT2 for curing the childrens mental behaviour,

Which involves so many things (Not only speach therapy told at other centers), also the problem statement was clearly explained to us in the begining, No false statements they will do what they will tell

at induction.

We are really happy for joining our kid in CBT2, We are happy to see the growth in him in day to day routine, We are happy to

see the kid interacting with others as the other normal kids, we are happy to see kid going to normal school and actively

participating like a typical child. he is focussing on lot of things than being silent at his own world. Thanks for CBT2.

When we came to know the kid suffer from Autism disorder 2 years ago, We were really worried about the future of him, The kid was not

at all normal when compared with other kids, He is not concentrating on what we are telling, then we joined him in CBT2, we met

Dr Anupama maruvada understands the actual issue with the child facing ADHD and she done CARS assesment and told the score was 36% and she explained us very clearly about the situation

of child and the process that is follwed in CBT2 for curing it, Now after 1 and half year the child became normal,

paying attention to us, understanding our words, speaking well, thinking on his own. We had kept our hope on ms Anupama and

the whole curing process went very well and now while discharging him, thankfully his CARS assesment score is 17. We are

very happy with the improvement of child.

We were really worried about the condition of the child's behaviour as he is not speaking well whenever some one tries to talk

to him he used to ignore literally everything, Even he is used to talk very less and words were unclear. But once we joined him

in CBT2, Our worries were drastically reduced because of the improvements showed by the kid.

The things were changed so much

* The parental sessions has helped a lot for parents to understands the problems and current status of the child and also activities are

explained to the parents to do at home with the child. so totally 3 hrs in CBT2 and +1 1/ 2 hours in home, almost 5 hours child be will be treated

daily.

1. The child is now doing good in his academics he is showering his interests in the things he like and learning it with

much attention than previous.

2. His emotionals are also being controlled, earlier he was not able to show some feelings are he used to show hyper activeness

but things were getting controlled now.

3. He is mingled with all his school mates now, Talking to the guests nicely, socialising with the people around him.

4. The main thing is the communication has now increased a lot, his speech skills got improved a lot, he is questioning

the things he is not aware.

5. The kid starting becoming active day by day.

6. Kid is slowly recovering from all his sensory issues.

7. He is interest in going to school is increased a lot.

It is one of the best congitive therapy centers.

We suggest any one to join CBT2.

The best professional I have seen.

I live in USA. There were many professionals who evaluated my grandson but couldn't diagnose correctly. When I heard about Anupama Maruvada, I contacted her who responded appropriately, immediately.

She has done CARS assessment to my grand child and diagnosed him with Autism Spectrum Disorder. She suggested us to put our grand child in BMSI program which is developed by her, which focuses on stimulating the child's development in all areas of development - Cognitive, Academic, Emotional, Social, Communication, Gross Motor, Fine Motor, Sensory areas and school readiness. she also emphasized that parents are trained as part of the program to have readiness to handle their children eventually.

I would definitely refer Anupama Maruvada to parents who has issues with their children. Few of my friends also consulted her for psychological issues and got guidance from her.

We were searching for a clinical psychologist to get our child diagnosed for some of the symptoms (attention deficit, not able to understand socializing or playing with other children, etc.) though she is interested to interact with kids, she doesn’t know how. That’s when we met Mrs. Anupama by checking her profile through practo and linkedin. When we met her, Mrs. Anupama was able to identify a few more things that fall under ASD which we couldn’t recognize and recommended for CARS test to see the level at which our child falls under ASD. Luckily we brought her in a very early age and the symptoms can be treated for which we got assurance from Anupama.

Initially after the first meeting I was not convinced by her analysis as to how she could observe a child for 30 minutes and decide if the child falls under ASD. But gradually, with our observation, we correlated and understood how well experienced she is in child psychology. We started our child’s therapy at CBT2 and we were trained about how to deal with the child and things started getting better within a few days. Most appreciable part is that she adopts the whole family and guides us at every step, that actually worked for us. This created hope in us that every problem has a solution. Infact we learned from the clinical psychologists regarding how to deal the kids patiently, and handle them in most effective way. What we felt at CBT2 is that the child will be in safe hands and the everyday sessions are designed w.r.t. the child’s needs, that might be different for any 2 different kids. We as parents may loose patience sometimes, but the clinical psychologists at the center treated our child with utmost care and patience. Apart from this, they also trained us on how to handle our kid on a daily basis even after our child is out of ASD(after 16 months of treatment).

The feedback from other parents that If we implement the daily routine provided by Mrs. Anupama, we will definitely start seeing changes in the child had become true in our case.

Anupama Madam has rich experience in thorough evaluation and defining the problem statement. Dedication and result orientation are key elements of her treatment. She will invest ample time in listening to problem and define the treatment. Our son (5 years old) was diagnosed with mild Autism in February 2020. We consulted Dr Anupama Maruvada and enlisted him in the child behavior therapy program at CBT2. He attended the program for 15 months. As of now, he’s considered a normal child and will be going to a regular school in the upcoming academic year. He is officially out of the autism spectrum. We went to cbt 2 Bangalore one month ago, my children is suffering from ADHD, autism , so we met Sri Dr. Anupama maruwada medam, we took there two days perentel training from medam, we got excellent knowledge from medam's classes, CBT 2 parentel training is very very useful to autistic kids , after taken 2 days training we got full clarity & how to control my children, so who ever suffering from any psychological issues & autistic , ADHD problems, plz visit and take treatment, & Dr. Nagma medam explanation is very very nice, I can't remember medam's explanation, very good explanation, thank you CBT 2.
