The Family Doctor (GP, general physician) is at the core of Rxdx and it is a physician led and driven primary care + model. The GP’s are supported by diagnostics, physiotherapy, pharmacy and specialists as needed so it is a one stop health care solution for outpatients. This model sits in between single doctor practices and hospitals. In addition, RxDx aims to provide value added health care services such as health checkups, women’s care, geriatrics, a child friendly kids clinic, a foot and sports clinic and home health care services which are areas where focus and multi-disciplinary medical professionals are needed. These areas are not typical focus areas of hospitals as they are not surgical or intervention based. However, they fill a niche community need. Similarly using technology to help a patient access medical help via tele consults is another initiative of RxDx which can help decongest cities and de-stress individuals as patients are saved the commute. In our RxDx clinics, patients can see their favourite doctors on the RxDx smartapp thus saving them a visit to the clinic. RxDx started from one clinic in Whitefield in 2007 and has since organically expanded across Bangalore in a hub and spoke fashion. Three spokes in east Bangalore at Kundanhalli, Kadagudi, Bellandur are supported by the main branch in Whitefield. In 2018, a new hub has been created in Malleswaram. RXDX started with local GP services and then expanded into other areas which help the local community. Via telemedicine it aims to take the expertise of its wonderful doctor community to others in India, Africa and globally who could benefit from it. The word “RxDx” comes from Rx which is a symbol meaning prescription. Dx is the medical abbreviation for diagnosis. I had such nice experience with doctor kavitha for my pregnancy ,I really grateful to her. From the starting of my pregnancy she guided me in each and everyway so that I will be having a healthy delivery. She always explain things to patient so nicely and calmly and also encourage her patients to ask all ur doubt so that u will have a safe pregnancy . During my labour pain she encouraged me a lot to built that strength for easy normal delivery. Never advised me fancy protein powder and supplements all she used to say why u need that ma, eat good healthy food that's it.
I am really thankful to her, just 2 days before I delivered a healthy baby girl through normal delivery.

As I have hepatatis,even for normal health issues(cold/fever ) I consult him . good thing is, he prescribes medicine only when its really required.
For my self satisfaction even I have visited other gastroenterologist and after comparison of 2 doctors only I have chosen Prashant sir for all my health checkup.
I will strongly recommend all hepatitis patient to visit him.Read less
