My wife has been under Dr Gowri Murthy’s care for her angle closure glaucoma for several years now. We went to Dr Gowri after a very acute attack when her IOP shot up over 50 and the laser procedure with our previous hospital did not improve matters after multiple sittings. Within half hour in madam’s hands, the episode came under good control and my wife was relieved of the pain as well as blur in her vision. Unfortunately the effect did not hold up and Dr Gowri suggested surgery to save the vision and urged me to do it as soon as possible. It was done at the onset of covid and the excellent support from her and several other consultants, assistants and nursing and support staff of Prabha Eye Clinic during those difficult days is unforgettable.

Dr Gowri’s skill, knowledge, experience and patience are all exemplary. I have not exaggerated one bit here, it is but a true reflection of our experience with her and with Prabha clinic over the past several years.

patience being a key importance for a doctor is majorly not seen with her, she discourages patients on the operation table bringing their morale down . * ****** ******* **** **** **** * ****** *** ** ******* **** **** *** ****** she is efficient in doing procedures but as a moral supporter on the operation table she is ... please learn some soft skills first

It's good about treatment and friendly with taking with all and clearfying douts what ever we asked .

My grandfather last month underwent a Cataract surgery. As a routine ECG test was carried out. The ECG was abnormal and doctors did not reveal this to us. The cataract Surgery was carried out by concealing this, because they thought that we might back off. The reports were not handed over to us as well. Doctor was kind and gave to the point simple explanation regarding my mother’s eyes conditions and why she needed a particular kind of lenses. Also she made mom comfortable during surgery with her assurances and telling what she was doing. It was a good experience:). Even their nursing staff and admin staff is pretty good.
