Visited Dr. Goutham Kumar (General Surgeon) For Laparoscopic Hernial Repair
Happy with: Doctor friendlinessExplanation of the health issueTreatment satisfactionValue for money
Dr Gautam was referred to me by my cousin for my hernia pain. The very first interaction with Dr Gautam made me feel very comfortable though it was over the phone. Reason being, Dr Gautam. is very friendly and never made me feel like his patient. He asked in detail on what my concern was ( though it was over the phone, and though it was the first interaction).
I did speak to few other doctors before consulting Dr Gautam, and I must say, Gautam was the best. He was not too focused in getting the patient to the clinic to get all details about the patient. He instead chose what is more
convenient to the patient for the first consultation. During these Covid tough times, many of us do prefer online video consultation which Dr Gautam did without any hesitation.
After few weeks, I did meet Dr Gautam in person. He heard me out completely though there were some questions that I was repeating in loop.
He detailed me out the reason for all the symptoms am going through and suggested a surgery. But he never compelled me for the surgery. He even told that the surgery is not required immediately and can wait.
However, I decided to go ahead with the surgery as I could not bare the pain.
Dr Gautam conducted the surgery. I was in pain post surgery ( which is obvious in any surgery). However, Dr Gautam took personal and very good care of me, though he never knew me personally. He was always there to address my pain points post surgery at the hospital and at home. No matter how late it was, he was just a phone call away and that's the best part about Dr Gautam.
I personally feel Dr Gautam goes out of his way to take care of his patients. And I would recommend him any day. Thank you Dr Gautham for the care and patience you showed.
Visited Dr. Aniruddh T Jagannath (Neurologist) For Brain Tumor SurgerySkull Base Surgery

I consulted Dr Anirudh upon the reference of Dr.Rajesh, an eye specialist, when I was diagnosed with pituitary adenoma in the brain. That was the time when the entire family was in shock and despair. Dr. Anirudh suggested multiple tests to confirm the type of tumour before finalising the treatment option. Test results ruled out the possibility of treatment with medicines. Surgery was the only option. Dr.Anirudh asked me to read about the surgical procedure and get back to him with questions. During the next visit he happily explained and answered all the queries that I had.
My tumour was quite big, and the preferred surgical method was endoscopic endonasal approach. This meant that the success of the surgery depended completely on the surgical skills of the neurosurgeon!! The surgery was a little risky one as the tumour was non-homogenous and had occupied the areas of the brain where nerves responsible for the movement of eye ball and the major blood vessels to the brain were also residing. Dr Anirudh lead the surgery along with Dr. Harisha and a group of neurosurgeons at Vikram hospital, Bangalore.
Surgery was successful and I regained my partially lost eye sight. I was back home after the surgery in a week’s time and was back to my normal routine in a month. I can vouch for the skills of Dr. Anirudh now. ** ** *** ** *** ****** ************* *** *** **** ** ********** He is also one of the experts in performing endoscopic brain surgeries. My experience with this case is an example for that.

My mother aged about 56 years has been constantly hospitalized for last 3 years for reasons unknown. She had high sugar, bp, hypertension, diabetic and overweight. After visiting 3 specialist neuro surgeon, with no result we finally met Dr Anirudh on recommendation from a different person. Doctor was able to diagnose that she was suffering from Cushing syndrome.
Cushing’s disease make it very hard for an observer to truly understand how complex the disease really is.
With Cushing’s disease, the adenoma causes the pituitary gland to release too much ACTH. ACTH stimulates production and release of cortisol, a stress hormone. Too much ACTH causes the adrenal glands to make too much cortisol, causing all of the terrible symptoms.
The doctor helped us understand why the other doctors were not able to diagnose this and he took time out to help us what is the way forward and made us patiently understand the severity and rareness of this syndrome. We decided to go ahead with the surgery which is removal of pituitary gland in Dec 2019 and after one year post surgery, my mother is back to normal, she is able to walk on her own, no bp, insulin dosage has drastically reduced, cortisol levels are normal.
All thanks to Dr Anirudh and the team of other doctors who conducted this surgery. We are extremely grateful to him. After years of pain and agony my mother is able to get a new walk of life
