Dr VJ is an angel for us in human form. We visited him for CABG for my father after getting an angiogram done at a different hospital. It was a very complicated case as there were multiple blocks upto 95% on the left side of the heart and with other comorbidities. He looked through the history patiently, diagnosis was narrated in detail -the current condition and state of health of heart , treatment plan established and its impact & prognosis.
He was totally sure of the surgery being a success and gave us the hope we really needed to hang in there. His expertise & perfection has resulted in good recovery and return to normalcy for my father.
Some might feel he is very brief/curt and not friendly in follow up visits post the initial discussion, as he is a man of few words, doesn't like being interrupted while he is talking and likes a certain decorum in his room. That's just an aspect of his personality and probably helps him focus on action more than words. But be rest assured that you are with the BEST and he will do all he can to help his patients.
We will be ever grateful to Dr VJ & his team.

My father got angioplasty from other hospital then after much investigation i went to sir vivek jawali. I went to meet doctor with reports, after watching reports he understood the case very well and told me to go for his bypass. I admire his skill because after watching reports I don't need to ask him anything, he knows what are questions and what are answers. Ya one thing is he is very strict and scolds you if u ask anything, but u will not be needing to ask any question for sure. After operation, it was open heart surgery, my father is doing great i can say. its been around one year he had his surgery.
This doctor is very impatient. He never listens to the questions we ask him and keeps shouting us calling people as dumb. He says I have narrated Ramayana and now you are asking this question. First of all when we consult doctor with some issue, we will be nervous and also it would be difficult for a common man to digest the info doctors give and we might end up asking some questions to understand the situation. We just need to listen to him ..no questions.
It does not matter How much famous doctor he is ..but if he doesn't have patience to listen then he is of no use.
I consulted him for my father's heart problem for a second opinion. Another doctor has told that my father needs to under go open heart surgery. But Dr. Vivek Jawali confirmed that it is not required and suggested to consult pulmonologist as it is because of lung infection and this is the reason causing pressure on heart and situation will improve once lung function is improved. Now my father is feeling better.
Summary: Go to him at the last resort. Otherwise an efficient doctor.

i would not comment about the doctor since I was not able to see him. But the fortis Cunningham road hospital was like a bad nightmare. I had been calling the reception since 2 days and no1 picked the phone. In fact the person at reception desk didn't even know if the phone was working. there were not even a single sanitizer kept anywhr in the hospital, no social distancing, extremly poor condition of premise. I had a 8:30 am confirmed appointment. While reaching there, reception desk told me that their staff would come only by 9. there was no option of nom touch payment(scan n pay), they only acceptedcash or card. No1 had a clue when the doctor would come to hospital. After a lot of struggle, I was given the number of doctor's secretary to call and chck myself. she informed me to wait and doctor would not visit before 10-10:30 and I should have called her to book appointment. I am not sure why teh appointments are booked through practo for the doctor when they don't have a clue. I decided to leave instead of waiting for the fear of getting corona in such filthy environment and unprofessionalism. I would not recommend anyone to vist fortis Cunningham road. there are much better hospitals in bangalore.

I took an appointment to visit MR. Jawli regarding DVR surgery planned in next week for my mother.he was very impatient, and never answered a single question. for surgery he asked me to stop acitrom. then I tried to explain him that she had stroke 8 months back, when acitrom was stopped based on suggestion by other doctor. he said "follow what I say", "don't ask me all these non sense". he asked to me standup and the moment I stood, he shouted at me to leave his room .it all took less than 3 minutes after my 2 hours long waiting. as a patient, ones would require enough information before going through a surgery. especially when it is complicated surgery such as open Heart, valve replacement etc. ** *** **** ** **** **** ******* *** ***** **** ******* **** * ****** ***** ** ****** ******* * **** ******* ******* ***** ******* ****** ********* *** ******* ******* *** ** **** *** **** ** *** ******** I will be moving to different doctor/hospital.
Dr Jawali, as soon as you enter his office in Fortis has a lot of things displayed about his high achievements in this field. Unfortunately, when we took my mother for consultation with him, he was really very impatient. Didnt listen to us or her complains. He got annoyed that we were not taking medicines and talked in an unfriendly way. Started writing a page full of medicine followed by a page full of tests that we need to do. He didn't even read the reports properly and had to be told that echo report is already there, which he had asked us to test.
Howsoever high he must be in his practice, but a doctor not having enough patience to listen to his patients is lacking the basic traits of a doctor. Especially when there is a senior citizen with cardiac problem, one should be more careful.
Guys go for better doctors who would be more compassionate and open for listening and not for folks who are interested in only making money( Rs 750 consulting fee).

He was awesome. With one of the lab wrong diagnosis I had a doubt that I am suffering from heart problem. He simply denied and asked me to go through few test to confirm the same. With his experience and believe I was totally stunned. To my surprise test results of TMT and ECOCARDIOGRAM confirm the same.
I am more than delighted to visit doctor Vivek otherwise I would have been end up having so many medicine for nothing.
