Dr. Sathya Prakash Manimunda

With an ardent desire to help the people and needy with his knowledge and skills and with the conviction to redefine the diabetes care in India with affordable cost Dr Manimunda is leading Diabetes Care Unit at SRILAKSHMI SUPER SPECIALTY HOSPITAL at C.V.Raman Nagar, Kaggadasapura Main Road. He has more than 12 years of experience in the field.He has done his MBBS from Vijayanagar Institute of Medical Sciences (VIMS), Bellary in 1998; he underwent Post Graduate training in Paediatrics during 2001-04. He was conferred Millennium Promise Award in 2010 by National Institute of Health (USA) and he underwent Post-Doctoral Fellowship training in Diabetes and CVD between 2010-2012 at Emory University, Atlanta and CCDC, New Delhi. During the years 2013-15 he underwent Post Graduate Training in Diabetes and awarded with Post Graduate Diploma in Diabetes with Merit from Leicester University, London. He has also undergone Post Graduate Certificate Course in Nutrition (PGCCN) from NIN, Hyderabad, a premier Institute in the field.He is a leading Medical Scientist who led more than 10 scientific projects at National and Global level in the field with more than 22 original research publications to his credit in international and national journals of repute which are Pub Med indexed and peer reviewed.He was honored with "Young Scientist Award" in 2007 and Millennium Promise Award in 2010 by National Institute of Health (USA)
