Dr Praveen Rodrigues has close to two decades of rich experience in the fields of dermatology, cosmetology & venereology, both in India and abroad. He did his MBBS at St John’s Medical College in Bangalore (1992) and went on to do his MD in Dermatology, Venereology and Leprology from the Dept of Dermatology and STD, Command Hospital, Air Force, Bangalore. He capped it off by being awarded an IADVL (Indian association of Dermatologists, Venereologists & Leprologists) Training Fellowship. He served as Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Dr B R Ambedkar Medical College & Hospital and K C General Hospital, Bangalore. He then spent more than a decade in the UAE as a licensed dermatologist consulting with two of the largest private hospital groups in the country and he can speak Arabic well.Dr Rodrigues also has more than a passing interest in academia. He has developed health management and teaching skills, taught post-graduate students of dermatology and MBBS undergraduate students, conducted research activities in the field, assisted in training and teaching para-medical health personnel and so on. Some of the procedures he routinely performs are laser cosmetic surgeries, hair transplantation, electrosurgery, cryotherapy, PUVA (Psoralen and Ultraviolet light therapy) for psoriasis and vitiligo surgery (punch grafting).

He also had great conversation which made me feel comfortable with him.

The doctor *** **** **** *** clearly explained the issue and the reason along with the course of treatment needed..
However the coordination rom the hospital and practo was really bad and absolutely clue less. They made us wait for over 1 hour for no reason at all and when we met the doctor he was not even aware of us coming for the consultancy one hour before our confirmed appointment time. This was after more than 5 calls during the day between me and the hospital to confirm this visit. Very disappointed with the way Fortis coordinated with this whole appointment
He is not ready to listen to the problem patiently. With its expensive consultation fees he would just entertain you for max 10min and then consult you medicines directly. In the end he would ask to visit wherever he practices. I requested for video consultation but it was just audio.
I had a video consulting this week, had a bad experience. He has no patience & bit rude. Didn't even listened to my issue, just gave **** ******* medicines.

He is not ready to spend atleast 10 min with the patient, ************** **** ** *** ********** I went for Fungal infection treatment he didn't seen old medical reports, just prescribed some medication and said come after two weeks. He not explained what happened to me how to control the infection anything. Seriously wast of money (1000)
