Dr. Poornima Ramesh

We are visiting her Clinic from last 2- 3 years for consultation and now for pregnancy checkup. We stay at least 15- 20 KM away from her clinic and still we continued with her, since she have so much dedication and experience. She gives right advice and make us comfortable. 2 days back I gave birth to baby girl, way she handled the entire delivery process is really gr8. She is always remain calm and takes right decisions at right time.

We really thankfull to Dr. Pointing Ramesh for all the help she provided.

The clinic is swanky and very well maintained. The staff were professional in interacting with customers and patients. Good coverage of services like lab and scanning. I was attended to promptly.

Dr.Poornima was just excellent. She attended to me in an un-hurried way allocating plenty of time to discuss my problem. She was very informative and gave me what every patient needs most... clarity, courage and specific directions to proceed further. I had a wonderful experience with her and I will definitely recommend her to people I know.

I came to know about Dr. Poornima Ramesha through one of my friend Mrs. Rashmi Gupta as she treated my friend for fibroid problem at Columbia Aisa -Hebbal. Then I approached her during my first pregnancy *** ** ** ** ********* *** ** *** ** *** **** ******* * **** **** *** * She is so polite, generous, and listens her patient carefully. She also tries to explain the real situation to her patient and now its up to us to follow what she advises or simply shun it. I highly recommend her. I know a lots of my friends, who have been to her for their delivery issues, and all are satisfied.

Dr. Poornima Ramesh is very friendly and helping in nature. I felt very safe and confident to go for delivery under such a good doctor, as the doctor will check each and everything carefully. During pregnancy checkup, if anything needs to be updated to the patient regarding medicines after blood test/any tests like thyroid or anything doctor will talk personally to the patient in phone and they will inform about the tablet to be taken and the dosage. This is very appreciative as it is very helpfull for patients. And I dint get even a single problem after my first delivery. Now I hv to undergo my second baby delivery, I don’t need to worry as I am under safe hands.

1st of all I had the appointment at 7 PM and we reached at 6:45. But by the time they called us to the doctor cabin it was 8:30.

2nd of all, they made us sit in Poornima Ramesh cabin and she did not turn up for 1/2 hr. We were sitting in her cabin and she had a monitor where we would see all other rooms. So we were easily able to see what all she was doing.

She will go to one room, will talk to the patient for hardly a min and then go to another room where there was another patient lying on the bed, she will talk there for a min, leave that patient on the bed lying, again come to 1st room, will talk something to the patient again, then she will go to reception area and will talk to the receptionist. This went on for 30mins. she didn't even come to us nor she attended any other patient completely.

After all this drama, she came to us. Our query was regarding Trying to Conceive. She explained us some medical terminology regarding fertile window blah blah which we had already known from the internet. No need for a doctor for that information. She gave a prescription to take tablet and gave a list of tests to be done and then came the shocking moment, She just stood up and started walking out without listening to what we were saying to her completely and walked away. To get this we had to wait for more than 2 hrs. Nice !!

Finally, we came out. But in the prescription, it was written to take the tablet before 3 months of getting pregnant. I was bit confused on that. So I went inside and asked her when to take the tablet. She said start taking now. So I told her its written 3 months before pregnancy that's why was bit confused. So her response was, YOU DONT KNOW WHEN YOU WILL GET PREGNANT RIGHT?

This statement was very rude and was totally unexpected from a doctor. I am trying to conceive and am already very depressed and feeling very low. went to a doctor so that i'll get some hope but the doctor herself will say 'u dont know when u'll get pregnant'. Is this a way any doctor would say? Doctors will say the same statement in other ways like 'it might take some time' but she is so rude. as if she is doing a free service.

She is just very money minded. She charged Rs.800 just for consultation and to just walk away and make such rude statement.

I know many others would have had such bad experience with this doctor. So please post such experience here so that it will benefit others.

She delivered my first child and the experience was good at that time but when I went there for my second pregnancy things had changed drastically.

She had become very busy. She was handling two patients simultaneously in two different rooms. *** ****** *** ****** ********** Even as I was asking her a question about spotting during pregnancy she just walked away saying only after first scan she will see. Having had a previous history of miscarriage this was an extremely disappointing experience. My husband was fuming that she didn’t even wait to listen to my question completely.

Later I went for another doctor for consultation.

Even the waiting time in her clinic is crazily long.

We had been to 2-3 doctors for a pre-pregnancy check-up, but out of them all, we felt Dr.Poornima Ramesh trustworthy and reliable. But, the clinic's front office management is not so friendly. and there is no card payment. So please carry cash, or u might have to run till Manipal hospital, which is on the next road. Consultation fee is a bit high, but compensating on health in the hands of corporate hospitals is pricy in terms of your health. So, as per my opinion, we can trust experienced doctors but not all corporate hospitals.

Poornima is a very experienced doctor. She follows standard protocols and procedures for the pregnancy tests and scanning. Listens with lot of patience to our questions, problems and comes with ideal solution. A very friendly doctor. Same with Doctor Anjana too.. And the clinic is very clean, tidy and you get all help needed in reception too.. They go with proper appointment basis, wait time is more but the scanning and checkups of previous patients takes time as most of the patients are conceived ones(it takes time for each patient for detailed scan and following checkup) so have plenty of time and patience while visiting a gynoc.. I do recommended this clinic and Poornima docror for my women friends.. I am revisiting her for my second pregnancy now

I had my delivery done by Dr. Poornima. She was patient in responding to all my inquisitive questions all throughout my pregnancy and post delivery as well.

I had gestational diabetes which was dealt with great care as well. I was suggested to a general physician. Periodic monitoring and the best part was she does the scans herself so its quite assuring to hear it from the person who sees ur baby 1st hand.

And she is very friendly with the parents and that plays a role in having them not second guessing your choice of doc.

A calm and composed doctor who treats her patients with patience.

A few months ago, I visited her to confirm my pregnancy. Although I was not prepared for motherhood, I went ahead with the pregnancy based on her advice and caution on the status quo in the rising number of cases in infertility. She also educated me on how the quality of the egg and the sperm diminishes with age.

I stay in Whitefield. Visiting her every month for a check up seemed like a Tour de France, as the clinic was in Malleswaram. I requested her to refer me to a gynec in Whitefield. Without much ado, she quickly referred me to a good gynec in Whitefield.

A very understanding doc who makes us understand.
