Dear Sir / Madam,
more..I have booked my appointment through practo but I got a call from the hospital about scheduling the appointment before the slot. When I reached there, a lot of patients were already waiting in the queue and it took nearly one and a half hours for my session. The rest of all was fine. The doctor approached me nicely and discussed the problems well. I am happy with the treatment.

I visited for my father's treatment. He is suffering from incessant cough due to complications resulting from PSP. Even before we saw Dr Padma, we were told to get 2 x-rays done which took us ~2 hours. After that and some wait, Dr Padma saw my father for less than 2 minutes. She was standing and we were not asked to sit either (though my father is wheelchair bound so he was sitting), she seemed in a great hurry to complete the conversation and advised us to see a swallowing specialist, saying that my father will need to be on feeding tube. I asked what about cough he gets even when he is not eating, or just lying down... she did not answer that and said that feeding tube will at least reduce the risk while eating. This wasn't helpful at all as we knew he has swallowing issues due to PSP, we have consulted the best doctors in Delhi and Bangalore for PSP and told her that. We had gone to a pulmonologist to understand if there was a treatment or relief possible for the symptom of incessant cough. The least I would expect is that she should have given us clarity on if there is any treatment possible or not. She was insistent that we see the swallowing specialist first and then she will advise further treatment.

Honestly speaking , the whole experience after visiting first time Manipal Hospital bound me to write here some issues that we faced. Few of my friend and relatives from Assam advised me to visit Manipal instead of going to Mumbai ,Delhi or Chennai. So we went to Manipal. Main issue was with Dr.P. Sundaram whom we met after waiting a lot. During the time of consultation she rudely asked us why we came after the situation of the patient deteriorated. We told her that how we came to know as the patient is taking medicines regularly and undergoing treatment. Generally whenever we visited any Doctors they checked the patient properly particularly infected place of the body. But our lady Doctor don't even bother to touch or see the infected place of the body though the patient was Covid Negative. She advised to go for BIOPSY. Biopsy done but doctor madam don't bother to see infected place even then too and just advised to go with All medicines taken earlier or prior to met her. After coming home as Biopsy area became to ripen n swalloen ,we met a local Doctor *** ***** ****** **** ****** ********* **** ** ******* ******* **** ***** ****** *** ***** **** ***** ********** *** *** ******** ** **** ********** ***** ********** *** ************** ***** *** ***** ** * *** will never advise any one to .....
