Dr.Ashwini is a VERY PATIENT doctor. In my experience usually radiologists does a mechanical work... I mean they scan, fill up the scan report of their findings and ask the patients to collect the report. They tend to get irritated even if we ask questions while they scan. But Dr. Ashwini is unique. I know her for a long time and have never seen her do her job in hurry burry. She takes time to explain and clear our doubts. Her care for her patients makes us feel that we are in safe hands. I strongly recommend her for people who want a satisfying radiologist experience.

I visited Dr. Ashwini Patil for NT, Anamoly & interval growth scan. She is very ************** friendly to talk to and clearly explains baby positions. My baby was not in right position when I visited her for anamoly scan, she waited for me patiently and asked me to eat and come. Later, my baby came in right position by 8 pm in the night, she then scanned and explained about the baby's progress.Interval growth scan was a pleasurable experience as well, she took almost 15 minutes to scan and explained the baby's growth very clearly.PS : Visit weekdays to avoid weekend rush.

We had a appointment with this doctor for abdominal and Pelvic scan for my mom. Looks like Dr was irritated by someone over the phone and she was showing that anger on my mother. Dr was in a hurry to rush to somewhere.
My mom was going through such a scan for the 1st time, so ideally Dr should tell how to hold hand , do's and dont's during the scan etc. instead she was raising her voice for each and every thing. She should learn how to behave with patients. Not a good experience. Dr should improve her behavior with patients and have some patience.

Hospital already informed that patient's bladder needs to be full before the scan and hence need to drink a lot of water. We did so and when felt a urine sensation we asked to go for a scan. During the scan its found that bladder is half full, immediately doctor started getting disturbed. I suggested that we will take another 15 -30 minutes and drink some more water and will come again for the scan. Doctor asked" Are you planning to come at 10pm, now its 7.30 pm I am sitting here since 4, what do you think about my job? we are not sitting for your convenience, we are doing this job whole 365 days, not like you. its everyday job..etc etc". I was completely surprised on her reaction, I told her that when the patient told she is having heavy urine sensation then only I asked for a scan, what else can we do if bladder not full. Finally she did internal scan and gave the report. This is not the expected behavior from such an experienced professional, who is working with popular maternity hospitals like motherhood. We were really disappointed, she could have asked to come next day if its getting late for her, or could have politely told us that you should drink this much liters of water before USG. Don't know why such responses from respected people.

I find her to be late to the hospital and she is always in a hurry to leave. Due to this she gave a wrong scan report regarding baby size. My wife who is 34 weeks pregnant had undergone scanning by this radiologist. In fact she had given a scan report recently wherein she had mentioned baby's head size(HC) less than the head size of the baby mentioned in the scan report of previous month (less by 2 cm /20 mm). In fact the previous scan was also carried out by her. She did not even bother to think about the fact that head cannot shrink in size(if there is no growth of baby then it can remain same but cannot shrink). Because of this blunder my wife was admitted in the hospital for two days and she was readied twice for delivery thinking that baby is not growing for the past 3 weeks. Monitoring went on for two days and every parameter were normal. Then on the last day I raised my doubt to my wife's gynaecologist and insisted for an independent assessment by another radiologist. An independent radiologist carried out the scan. To our surprise the baby's growth is in line with timeline. To be specific head size is (HC)13 mm more than 3 weeks before. Luckily based on this new report my wife has been discharged from hospital without delivering the baby.

She is professional and friendly with patient. May be one thing Ashwini doctor can taken as suggestion is you can tell us (patient) what may be the reason for any minor or major abnormalities identified in scanning. Yes ofcourse we consult doctor with the report, till time patient may be in the dialama what might have happened. I understand your diagnosis may conflict with patients regular doctor but one ll have doubts atleast I believe. Thank you..

1) The doctor arrived 30 mins late.
2) We were not informed to drink water 30 mins before scan. This is our first scan with cloud nine and we should be informed of all the procedure.
As there was not much water in body, scan was not as clear as expected.
3) The doctor finished the scanning in less than 3 mins and we couldn't see what's getting displayed on the screen. Looks like she was in a hurry to leave clinic despite coming late.

She is very supportive and very friendly in dealing patients and their health issues. She gave me many precautions about my health, the moment when she has shown our baby moments during ultrasonography me and my hubby were on cloudnine, the way of dealing with patients is very impressive and we are very happy to share these happiest moments. I am very thankful to her.
She was very nice. Explained each and everything regarding the scan report. Something was wrong with the printer of the centre, but she still managed to give the report, she herself was looking to resolve the problem with the system and gave the report. She was very good with her work and did the scan properly.
