Varaprada Ayurvedic Centre

He has been a time and life saver for me atleast in this new city where I just arrived.

Let me start from the beginning what problems I had and what events took me to Dr. Vinay sir.

I'm from Himachal and I got job opportunity to join on IT Company here in Bengaluru.

Back in home while doing WFH for long time , my back got stiffed, severe pain in my back and right leg , I developed Sciatica, also my posture was also bend on the right side . I took some Physio sessions there at my native place for 1.5 months and once I was straight enough and relieved from pain I decided to come to Bengaluru. While coming back in Airport I sat on one of those massage chair to have one session there , right after that I realized that the comfort I had earlier with my body is no more there and by the time I was having same problem again as I had earlier.

I observed it for couple of days and it was getting worse as earlier. Then I start looking for the treatment for the same. While searching this time I decided to go for a Panchkarma treatment as I was already aware that along with external treatment or physio sessions , I need to improve my overall body strength too. I thought of giving it a try here otherwise fly back to my hometown with no other choice left.

I found Dr. Vinay S. Singarajapura number on Google. I gave him a call on Thursday around 4.00 PM saying that I'll be coming to your Centre by evening today afte my office hours . And that day I didn't able to make it . But when on weekend I took a taxi and reached there on his Centre location and then gave a call without any appointment scheduled, he picked up the call and asked if I have an appointment, I told him that I just came now via taxi (from 23 kms far away) , and without saying more he told me to wait for some time, while he come back to attend me.

Once he is in clinic he starts his observation and the after observing my pulse (naadi) he told me so many things which I was already aware about my current health condition and he advised me a well defined treatment plan.

He prescribed me some Ayurvedic medicine, and started Panchkarma and manipulation therapy on Wednesday onwards. After completing those session , now my spine problems are not bothering me much and I'm still continuing the follow up sessions to recover it to the original state.

Later I come to know that when I came here for his clinic on weekend that time he was about to leave Bengaluru for couple of days , but since I told him that I came in a taxi , so he might have thought that this guy is coming from long distance and so he still took some time for me from is busy schedule.

After Dr Vinay's continued support and advice now I've relief and some peace of mind that I can restore back to my original physical and mental health.

One more thing about his Panchkarma Treatment Centre is a well maintained, hygienic place , where someone can feel they are going to get well soon.

My experience at Varaprada

About Me:

I have been living with my Wife in UK for the last 10 years. Born and brought up in Bangalore. I had come to Bangalore for a 2 Month visit. One of the intentions of the visit was also to address the physical and mental problems I had and get the needful done. After thinking of all forms of Science and Medicine, we decided to with Ayurveda and Therapy

How I found Varaprada :

My wife found Varaprada online through Practo and after reading reviews , decided we should give it a try. She went through her sessions there and midway, decided it would be the best solution to address my problems too. Hence she got me in touch with Varaprada.

First time consultancy :

Before meeting Dr. Vinay from Varaprada, I made a list of problems and when I met the Doctor, he patiently listened for about 15-20 minutes of all the problems I had and shared with him. Without interrupting or giving an initial opinion, he patiently listened to me talk and that gave a kind of good feeling about the initial consultancy. After I had shared my problems, he was open minded to ask a few more questions, took some time and gave an initial set of tablets and oil(At this time, I have to say, sleep was my major problem that I wanted to address as soon as possible). I was suggested a few tests and after I got the tests done and shared results with the Doctor, my treatment started.

My Problems

Treatment given : My treatment lasted for a week and it was a half day (3-4) hours session every day. The treatment included a mix of activities that addressed the Spinal back pain and neck issue, an activity that involved a form of massage, Shirodhara (An Ayurvedic method to make one relax), Hot tub bath, Steam box and a few other activities that would intrinsically cleanse the body of all the toxins

Effect of treatment on my problems

From the first day of treatment, my sleep problem was solved. It worked like magic. I used to go to sleep at 11:00 PM and not be able to sleep till 3:30 or 4:00 AM and wake up with tiredness. However, ever since i started taking the treatment, I had no idea when i dozed off to sleep and when I woke up, I used to feel fresh. It was evident given the next day early morning, I had to be back to the centre for next set of sessions :)

About the Doctor

Dr. Vinay is one of a kind. One good quality I admired in him is his patience to listen to all the problems. He never left anything for chance. He ensured I had all the needed tests done, spent a few hours checking my report and spoke to me the next day. He told me the problems I had based on the report and clearly explained what he will be doing to address the problems and why he would be taking that approach. It gave a lot of confidence.

At the treatment centre, Dr. Vinay was personally there on all days, giving all the necessary treatments and overseeing all the people in terms of how they are reacting. He made me very comfortable during the course of the treatment (not just me. Even if there were a few more people, he would ensure everyone is given the same importance and no one’s time was wasted).

About the venue

The Venue is very neatly maintained. The resources (such as bed, massage table, Hot tub, Steam box etc..) are optimally used. There is a kitchen, a couple of rooms, a couple of neatly maintained bathrooms with fresheners and every day in the morning when I came, i could see that all these things were kept clean and ready for the next day use.

Overall Experience

A very very positive experience and am planning to come back again in June 2022 , this time for a six Month course (1 every week).

My Self Avinash CA by Profession i stay in south Bangalore,I had ACL tear 3 years back. Had consulted Ortho specialists (2 to 3 ) and they suggested surgery for reconstruction of ACL. Was skeptical about the surgery and post-surgery rehabilitation considering some of the live examples. Further, due to sedentary work style, had developed Disc Bule at L4-L5 level as well. Through a known source I met Dr. Vinay and assured good results in 3 Months which made me to trust Dr Vinay and also i enquired about his practice as well Most of the people said he sticks to his words and very professiona then i explained about my medical condition. The doctor made a detailed assessment and designed customized ayurvedic treatment ,This included various forms of therapies and customized ayurvedic medicine. Based on the assessment I took 3 months Treatment. Post completion of 2 months, I was able to sit with the folded leg and this was a remarkable sign of recovery. However, recently, I fell off the stairs and was diagnosed for minsucus tear. Presently, I have extended the treatment with the Doctor and have made significant progress. Wrt therapy center, it is maintained very well and hygiene. Doctor’s approach towards each and every case is very appreciable, and he gets involved in each phase of treatment. There will be detailed assessment of the health condition and post such assessment, a customized medication is devised. Wrt mobility, the center is located in a prime location with connectivity to near by bus and metro station. Would highly recommend others with similar health conditions.

Had consulted for my mother who is in her 60's, she was suffering very badly from body pain and joint pain due to arthritis, uric acid, spondylitis, etc. We tried many types of allopathic medicines but to no avail as it was only a temporary solution which used to lead to higher flare ups of pain once the medication course was completed. As a last attempt we wanted to try ayurvedic treatment and we consulted Dr Vinay, he was very patient in listening to all the issues and suggested some tests before proceeding further only after the tests did we realize how much deterioration the condition had caused in the body.

After the tests he explained the conditions to us in detail and the remedies available, based on his suggestion we decided to give it a try, he had suggested a week of Panchakarma treatments followed by treatments twice a week which included oil therapies, massages, etc along with medication.

To our surprise even before the completion of the first week of treatment there was a tremendous decrease in the pain and highly improved flexibility (she could not even lift her hand up, hold any vessels, bend down, climb stairs, etc prior to the treatment). Within a couple weeks she was almost rid of most of the pain and her body was feeling so much better. We never expected such good and quick results to be honest but we were delighted by the treatment offered by Dr Vinay who was so caring during the whole process of treatment. The lady staff who used to carry out some of the therapies were also very cooperative.

Posting this currently a month into the treatment and I'm happy to say that Dr Vinay has given my mother a new lease of life as she is able to do all her duties without being dependent on anyone for the first time since 4-5 years and she is happier than ever now.

We would like to sincerely thank Dr Vinay for the excellent treatment and pray that Lord Sri Hari give him more strength to help many more such people and benefit from the ancient ayurvedic knowledge.
