Dr. Jayaprada's, Jayanagar

Hi everyone! I wanted to share my experience with Dr. Jayaprada because it genuinely made a difference for me and my husband. We had been struggling with a personal issue for a while, and despite reading and asking around, we just couldn’t find clear answers.

We eventually decided to meet Dr. Jayaprada since she was close by, and honestly, we walked out of our first session feeling relieved and much more informed. She helped us understand what was actually going on and guided us with practical, straightforward advice. Her suggestion to freeze our eggs right away turned out to be one of the best decisions we’ve made, and it gave us the clarity and sense of control we had been missing.

What stood out to me *** *** **** *** ********** but the way she explained everything with so much patience and empathy. You can truly feel that she cares, and that makes a huge difference when you’re dealing with something so personal.

We went to Dr. Jayaprada for marital counseling when me and my wife were almost at the edge of getting divorced. Honestly, I was thinking twice in the beginning because the sessions felt expensive for me. But now, looking back, I can say it was worth every penny.

Dr. Jayaprada didn’t just do regular counseling or talk therapy—she went much beyond that. She understood both of us deeply and helped in a holistic way. She gave us practical tips and tools to work on ourselves, especially in how we speak and listen to each other. Some of those small changes in communication made a big impact over time.

We are not a perfect couple even now, and I don’t think any couple is. But the biggest difference is—divorce is no more even a topic between us. We feel more connected, more understanding, and we have started working as a team again.

As a husband and as a partner, I feel grateful. Dr. Jayaprada helped us save our marriage when we thought it was almost over. I truly recommend her to any couple going through a difficult time.

After researching extensively, I decided to finally give therapy a shot. I finalized on Dr Jayaprada because she had good reviews and a lot of experience. I was utterly disappointed with the session. I appreciate that she was atleast "trying" to be friendly but her opinions about things differed from mine. I understand that these things are subjective but I am paying 2450 for the session (450 is the first time registration fee) and it is natural to expect the doctor to have an open mind about things. She spoke about astrology, the numerous miracles that she had encountered, invalidated my feelings when I said that I experience existential crisis. How she came to this conclusion is actually funny. She figured it all out by my handwriting, which is great. Not disregarding anything about Graphology. I just don't believe it myself. She believes in astrology. Again, that is absolutely okay. It is just that I did not expect her to give me a prediction about my career. I had also mentioned that my mother talks to me about such things and subtly hinted that I personally do not like it when she does it. I liked how she had lots of books in her office/home clinic. We spoke about few of them. She mentioned Devdutt Pattanaik. How his books are really good etc. But she also mentioned that he is gay. How was that relevant in that context? Was that required to be mentioned there? I don't know. Finding a good therapist is also based on luck sometimes. This was my one shot at it and I can't go for a therapy anytime soon as it is so expensive. I wish it was worth it.

I am a father from a small town in North India, and I want to share my experience about Dr. Jayaprada Suresh, who has helped my son in a very big way. Dr Jayaprada's approach to counselling is very helpful in understanding the problem at hand and looking at it from a different perspective. I found her to be intuitive, empathetic, caring , kind and genuine. She really cares for her clients and tries to help them in every way she can and because of this, I felt emotionally empowered and confident after every session. I also felt safe and comfortable while talking to her. I ended up learning a lot from her and will go back to her when I need help.

I am not a client of Jayaprada, but a friend and a co-counselor and know her for more than a decade.

I and Jaya have been classmates through diploma and in Masters in counselling and we have a big group of 100+ counselors.

The reason I decided to write a review on Practo is, I find her amazing, she is amazing as a counselor, amazing as a person, and an amazing friend. I know so many counselors and I find her the most effective with the clients, Many of us have become her fans.

My family and our extended family all consult her only, she is the go to person for the smallest of issues in my family, I have literally given charge of my two girls to her and am happy for the way my daughters are shaping up. Now all my cousins and their families across the world consult her only.

We had gone to the her for couple counselling. The doctor took 2-3 calls in between the session, which broke our rhythm. We were not explained what to expect from the session and we really thought we will get at least some advice in the end. She stopped the session at exact time and we were not even guided when to come next. She left it on us to decide. It was quite abrupt and in fact, me and my husband we felt more depressed and frustrated. I informed her on WhatsApp message. She didn't even bother to respond even after 24 hrs. I won't recommend her for couple counselling at all

Dr Jayaprada has been a pivotal guide and mentor for the last few months of my life. After taking a break professionally for 6-9 months, for the sole purpose of figuring out life's goals, Dr Jayaprada's questions and perspectives are very help helpful in finding true answers. There is a fine balance between asking relevant / pointed questions and giving her own opinions, something I appreciate.

One of the other things which stands out for me is that I when I tell her how my thinking is changing, what I'm thinking and feeling, she subtly applauds me for the efforts I've made. It's like a pat on the back which I need.

I would strongly recommend her!

We visited Dr. Jayaprada's clinic for our daughter's recent issues regarding school admission. She has been terminated from her school and we were trying to get her admitted in a new school. She has issues related to learning and is not willing to learn anything new. She doesn't like going to school and has been coming up with various mischievous ideas so that she doesn't have to go to school. We were amazed to see that Dr. Jayaprada is so friendly to children that's why children can open up so easily. The session with the doctor helped her to understand why going to school is important.
