Happy with: Treatment satisfaction
I am an international patient from the UK. I have used Priyanka as my psychotherapist for seven consecutive months whilst in India.
When you look at me, I look healthy. I am slim, I exercise regularly, and I don’t drink or smoke. However, I came to Priyanka with several troubles in my life including chronic pain, issues relating to my previous work in the corporate environment and fears about my future. I had become disabled as an adult whilst working in the corporate world. (Two-thirds of people who are currently disabled in the UK became disabled whilst they were of working age.) I have an invisible physical disability.
I have had some talking therapies before in the UK, but they have not been nearly as effective as what I experienced with Priyanka.
In the same way that everyone has physical health, everyone also has a mental health. The most successful people in life look after both. In fact, it hard to have good physical health without also looking after your mental health. We all sometimes experience poor mental health. The loss of a relative or loved one, too much pressure at work, relationship difficulties etc. It is up to us to take time out to look after our mental health. This sometimes involves a therapist like Priyanka. This doesn’t show weakness but actually shows strength and courage.
At the airport in London, UK, just before I came to India, some of the best-selling books on the shelves are about how to master our mental health. How to improve our grit, resilience, perseverance or bounce-back-ability. It is clear that this is a popular international topic.
Because of my interest in these books, I decided to embark on a period of improving myself with Priyanka. There was some trepidation about what was about to happen. I was a little nervous.
Some of the sessions were difficult. We talked about issues that needed to be dealt with, and it was painful. However, once she had worked through these issues, I felt a feeling of release and freedom. A step-change in my mental health in that area. It was wonderful.
Often Priyanka used art, dance therapy and games to try to convey her message to me. As a technically minded and degree qualified mechanical engineer, I found some of these approaches new and challenging. Looking back, however, these exercises were the ones I remember the most. It’s as if therapy was working on me without me realising it. This would sometimes happen immediately and on other occasions take days of contemplating before fully absorbing what had been taught. Priyank is clever and her approach is not always obvious.
Priyanka has this ability to “sense” what you need. She often adapts her session depending on how she finds you. I found her sensitive and caring. Your very best health and wellbeing is the ONLY thing she is interested in. She is an absolute professional with years of experience behind her; and it shows. Priyanka goes the extra mile and then some more to make sure she gets you where you should be. She will not give up on you no matter how difficult the situation or even if you give up on yourself. She is determined and realistic.
Priyanka also has a wealth of experience dealing with international patients, and for that I was grateful. I was bamboozled by India, and she understood why. She educated me about the local culture and helped me navigate the peculiarities. If not for Priyanka, I would have left India within weeks. This I can say as an absolute fact. Her skills enabled me to complete my time here.
By the end of the seven months, I was able to handle myself in India in a confident manner. Not quite a local, but a far more assertive foreigner compared to the timid patient when I first arrived.
The best project you will ever work on in your life is yourself. Why read a self-help book or listen to a TED talk or Youtube video which is generic, when you can have tailored one to one psychotherapy from a qualified and highly experienced therapist? It’s a no brainer.
I have learnt that good emotional intelligence is a greater indicator of success than our IQ. But what is interesting is, that it is a skill that can be learnt, like playing the piano and practice makes permanent.
This exceptionally clever and skilful woman has taught me how to better handle the challenges of life. She is honest and can be depended upon. She thinks about the little things and sometimes little things really matter. Everything is confidential, you can tell her anything - she has heard it all before. Over the months I came to trust her completely. This woman has integrity inbuilt. She is honest and kind.
I arrived in India almost broken, I had lost my confidence, in pain, stressed and weak. With Priyanka’s help I left with a skip in my step, smiling, confidence restored, much stronger and able to deal with life better. What a relief!
It is therefore without any hesitation or reservation that I recommend Priyanka to you. I would especially recommend her to international visitors, like myself. As far as I’m concerned, you can search as much as you like for a better therapist in Bangalore, but I am one hundred percent confident that you will not find one.
Visited Dr. K.H.Madhusudan (Ayurveda)
I was looking for a physcologist , ended up with search for Dr priyanka, I tried booking online but due to covid no new cases were taken, so I went to the center directly. There I was introduced Dr Madhusudan is the Head of center, so I explained him my issue so that he could help me book an appointment with Dr Priyanka. Instead he said he is also a qualified physcologist and ranted some certifications and charged me Rs750. I ended up paying totally Rs1500.He said he will start a 14 day session and vl cost me Rs8000 which I have to pay next day. 2nd day, after paying i enquired whats the procedure he will follow for that he said, he has to get to know my details 1st before starting the treatment and asked me to share my family members photographs and details. After returning home, I realized something is not right. I have been requesting him to return the money as I am no longer interested to be treated by him and my treatment hasn't started.but he is stating he has done too much of research back end and is reluctant to return the money which he conned me and took it

I had decided to undergo therapy when I felt that I couldn't cope up with what was happening in my life. I had severe low confidence and self esteem issues. I was referred to Dr Priyanka.
Initially I was not sure how her methods were going to help me, but I went ahead and did whatever exercise she asked me to do between appointments and I started seeing a difference in my thinking process after a while.
She understands what we are going through and makes us realise what we are doing wrong in a kind and sensitive manner. She used to make me feel comfortable and calm. She allows us to speak and listens to the whole thing patiently. I would say that I have become more confident and assertive in my life, thanks to her.
