I consulted Dr Preeti for anxiety and depressive feeling which started affecting my day to day activities. She is very friendly. We visited for evaluation and management of pre-diabetic status. Fasting and postprandial blood sugar levels were reviewed, indicating impaired glucose tolerance. Lifestyle modification with emphasis on dietary changes, weight control, and regular exercise was advised. No medication was prescribed at this stage. Follow-up blood tests were suggested after 3 months to monitor progression and assess the need for pharmacological intervention if lifestyle measures are insufficient.
