I had primarily been struggling with social anxiety for around 8–9 years (I'm currently 25), along with high blood pressure and insomnia since 2023. I had my first visit to a psychiatrist around May 2024, and I met Karthik sir around September 2025.

Initially, I was skeptical about the concept of talk therapy and its effectiveness, partly influenced by internet jokes and misconceptions. Because of that, I delayed committing to therapy for more than six months. But after gathering some courage, along with encouragement from my brother, I finally connected with Karthik sir last year.

During our initial call, he briefly explained the structure of the process ( Six Pack Mind program), and I booked my first session for the following week. Even before the first meeting, I still wasn’t entirely sure what to expect. But the way Karthik sir listened to my issues and explained them back to me in such a structured and coherent manner completely surprised me.

I had never heard someone connect my seemingly unrelated problems so clearly before. The clarity I felt after the very first session motivated me to continue further, and eventually complete the entire program, which lasted around 2–3 months.

In every session, I felt like I came in with a puzzled perspective and left with a much stronger sense of reality and understanding. The sessions were very well structured, with each one building naturally upon the previous one. It genuinely felt like being on a self-discovery journey.

It has now been more than four months since completing the journey, and the concepts still help me navigate daily challenges and resolve conflicting thoughts. The difference between before and after has honestly been night and day. I do wish I had started sooner, but that’s okay.

As for the practical effects of therapy, my insomnia is now completely resolved, and I am gradually moving to very low doses of medication. I also completely overcame my smoking addiction and have lost around 9 kg since January 2026. My social anxiety is recovering ,slowly but steadily.

I am still trying to stay consistent with positive habits and actions, but for the first time in a long while, I feel a strong sense of direction and purpose in life.

In the end, I would like to summarise the entire experience in the same way I told Karthik sir personally:

I am deeply grateful to Dr. Karthik for the positive impact he has had on my life. When I first met him, I was struggling with addiction, stress, and uncertainty about my future. Karthik was absolutely god send and his counseling helped me steer through a very tricky situation. To give context I am getting married to a guy from different community and the discussion between the parents of both side was creating a lot of anxiety, hopelessness and I was loosing my sanity. I was second guessing my decision and would have given up on the relationship had Karthik not counseled me. Not everyone will have a safe space where they feel truly heard.

I approached KARTHIK in an emotionally heavy, confusing and an imbalanced phase. Thought that these 2-3 points will be addresed and solutions are suggested. Instead ,the process takes u thru all your lows and thoughts . He helps u to understand all the issues and handle them from the Roots. Nothing forceful..

I have been taking therapy sessions with Karthik sir from the past few months. He listens to the problem patiently and he tries to explain logically what is the exact problem and what are the consequences of the problem.
