Aasra Clinic, Gachibowli

It's been exactly 3 years with Aasra Clinic. I have come a long way since then, and it is only because of Swetha Mam. Unlearn & re-learn – this process takes a lot of time, patience, struggle. After my therapy sessions, I have not just come over frequent panic attacks, I have also become a better person. Now I can identify my trigger points. I’m grateful to the person am becoming – less reacting, less judging, less sabotage, more boundaries, more clarity than confusion. I am learning to be ok with people thinking negative about me for voicing out my opinions, I’m practicing acceptance and the list goes on. Swetha Mam, Can’t thank you enough for making me a better person, forever grateful_/\_

For all the negative reviewers here, I guess they had expected too much from therapy. Therapy is not a miracle or something as they show in movies. This is my first doctor yet I can pretty much say that. All my interactions with her have been great. She even gave me extra time as I felt I needed to talk more despite her patients waiting outside.

I thought I knew everything about myself but she made me realize what my actions actually meant and provided me with a perspective. Usually, I tend to forget the explanations anybody gave me coz the motivation is temporary. But here with Dr. Swetha, this was not the case. She gave a few pointers and I have actually implemented them and felt the result. Yes, she can be blunt sometimes but how long can you hide from the truth? If you want a doctor who would just listen to you, then I'm sorry you need to consult somewhere else but if you really want to improve then it's hard to think that there is anyone better out there.

I've been visiting her for past 1yr now. I've come to realise that therapy is just like dental checkup, need regular visits. The way she helped me get in touch with my inner self and change my personality as per my goals and my goals as per my personality, is simply amazing. Initially, I went for my anxiety disorders but later recommended it to many of my friends and also my partner for couple's therapy. First is a diagnosis session where she the further process is decided after listening to the issue. She goes both ways, therapy with behavioural changes and therapy with medicinal help based on the patients. She has helped me with my personal anxiety issues, my issues with my ex, my love life, my professional life and my family. Visiting her was probably my best decision of not just 2020 but my whole life yet. In this age of pandemic where one in every five people is suffering from mental issues, we need more doctors like her.

Dr. Sweta is good listener, helpfuln & is currently helping me navigate through difficult times and feelings. She's helping me to figure out what I really want in life. She's empathetic but does an honest prognosis of the situation. She has helped me with strategies to deal with difficult emotions. She doesn't impose or judge, instead she lays down various possibilities that I'm not able to see or not wanting to see on own.
