Darkness of pain and uncertainty can seem infinite and impossible to end when, we only have known the pain of fear for so long, as it would seem like an eternity. A trusted relative of mine suggested Dr. Mehak Arora and her centre. At first it felt impossibly difficult to open up, as to opening up to even myself felt to so so hard, since talking to even my own self, without getting confused and frustrated was very difficult. Then at my first session, I was induced in such a way, that I immediately felt to be in my own dark room, but with a friend, who would listen to me and Mehak did listen to me, and bit by bit but with more and more sessions, opening up became easy. I felt the key to this is to follow your guide and trust in her to open your fears to her. N if we can actually think, that we can heal, Dr. Mehak Arora can surely be the best guide to seek help from. N today i am fit to actually breathe long and deep even in crowds and talk to the one person, I always felt troubled/scared to talk/live with. I have been in therapy with Mehak for a little over a year now, and it’s been a year of deep self-reflection, unpacking of deep-rooted anxiety and the holding of space for feelings and core needs that have never been acknowledged before. Mehak has sat with me in the discomfort of breaking down existing belief-systems and guided me with empathy through the process of rebuilding myself. Over time, Mehak has not only made me feel truly seen and understood, but also meticulously worked with me to piece together information she has collected over our sessions with such attention to detail, to yield valuable insight that has helped me in understanding my behavioral patterns. I consider myself to be a fairly analytical person and so finding a therapist with a refined approach to analysis while also actively relying on her EQ to gauge the immediate needs of her patient was of utmost importance to me and has been — quite unequivocally — life-changing for me.
