I have been consulting with Deepika ma'am for almost 3 yrs now. Thanks to her constant support throughout this period, I finally had a baby on 13th May 2021.

My pregnancy journey had been full of unwanted events. First was a spontaneous miscarriage around 3 yrs back. I was with a different gynae at that time and although she was knowledgeable and well sought after, the overall experience made me realize that going forward I would need more personal support from my doctor. After recovery, I researched and chose to consult Deepika ma'am for the way forward. I was badly traumatized by the miscarriage and was feeling down. But the first meeting itself provided me the much needed uplifting. She listened to my rant patiently and answered all my questions. I followed up with her for next year but as fate would have it, this too ended in a miscarriage. It broke me to the core and I started blaming anyone and everyone for it. But she talked me through and gave me the belief that there was nothing wrong with me or my husband and that these things happen naturally (in fact these are more common than we think they are). It was her encouragement only that gave me the strength to plan again. She took extra care of me and prescribed tests, medicines, injections, diet plan, Dos & Don'ts in daily life etc. as and when needed. As a result there was no early miscarriage third time around. But unfortunately, I developed Gestational Diabetes around 3rd month of the pregnancy. She kept a close watch and worked with an endocrinologist to keep me and my baby safe. Her well-planned tests also caught a dip in my iron levels timely which could've harmed the baby. In the 9th month I contracted Covid. It was a really bad time for Delhi-NCR and despite being overworked (as she was supporting many patients of her infected gynae friends as well), she provided me with all the guidance to navigate the uncertainties surrounding Covid and pregnancy. One specific instance I would like to quote when baby's movements were declining for a day. I panicked but I couldn't get a USG or NST done due to my Covid +ve status. She understood my anxiety and called some personal favors to arrange an NST for my baby within few hours. She even followed up after that by herself. I have never seen/heard a doctor help out at this level despite being stressed herself.

I was adamant for a normal delivery but these complications and my weight gained during pregnancy (~90 kg) meant it was difficult. She clearly told me about the various scenarios but she didn't give up on me and encouraged for a normal delivery. Owing to my religious beliefs, I wanted the delivery on a specific day. She accommodated my request and planned the induced delivery accordingly. The D-Day was c*azy. I knew that labor pain is much to take but didn't know this much! A night before delivery she kept constant contact with on-duty staff for my developments and was always available to us over phone. When the time came, she reached quickly to perform the delivery. I have seen cases in family where doctors delegated the delivery to someone else because they were busy elsewhere. But not her. She was always there for us and I can't tell you how comforting it was in those moments. There were some complications during the delivery but she handled them well and now our bundle of joy is healthy and already 2 months old :) .

Thank you ma'am for your support all this time. I don't think without your medical and mental support I could be the happy mother I am today.

I strongly recommend her to all those planning for parenthood.

P.S.: Sometimes there can be long wait periods at the clinic but that is because her patients like to talk to her and she gives ample time to every patient :) (though emergency cases are considered on priority)

I had the pleasure of being under the care of Dr. Deepika Sood throughout my entire pregnancy journey, and I can confidently say that she is an outstanding gynecologist. From the moment my partner and I decided to start a family, Dr. Sood was there to provide us with invaluable guidance and support. Once I became pregnant, Dr. Sood continued to be a pillar of support, ensuring that both my babies and I were healthy and safe every step of the way. When the time finally came for my C-section, Dr. Sood's skillful hands and calm demeanor helped make the experience as smooth and stress-free as possible. She carefully coordinated with specialists and devised a comprehensive plan to ensure the safe delivery of both babies.

What truly sets Dr. Sood apart, however, is her genuine kindness and compassion. Despite her busy schedule, she always took the time to listen to my worries and offer words of encouragement. Her friendly and approachable demeanor made me feel comfortable discussing even the most personal topics, fostering a trusting doctor-patient relationship.

In conclusion, I cannot recommend Dr. Deepika Sood highly enough to any expectant mother in search of a caring and competent gynecologist. Thanks to her expertise and support, my pregnancy journey was not only safe and smooth but also filled with warmth and reassurance. Dr. Sood truly goes above and beyond for her patients, and I am grateful to have had her by my side every step of the way.

I am writing about my experience of delivering a beautiful baby boy, just a week ago, under the guidance of Dr. Deepika Sood. Our journey with her started in July 2020 when after months of trying to have a baby, we landed up in her clinic. Took reference from Practo and reviews on Practo. From day 1, doctor was very calm and positive towards our case and was sure that we will conceive without any concerns. Where other doctors had started suggesting ultrasounds and additional meditation, dr. Deepika Sood on the other hand just wanted us to not take any stress. We conceived naturally in August. Throughout these 9 months, doctor was always approachable. She is a very good listener and is one of the most polite doctors I have met. I was never prescribed any additional u/s or med. Just the essentials. Everything was fine till we came to know that the baby has 2 tight loops around the neck and a natural delivery could be difficult. We were always scared of a c-sec delivery and we conveyed the same to doctor as well. Fortunately, dr was on the same page as us. She wanted us to wait for natural pains to kick in, and we got admitted on 6th May. On the eve of 7th May, my baby arrived via vacuum delivery. It is very uncommon for doctors to go ahead with natural delivery when the baby is in such a situation, but dr. Sood’s expertise and confidence made it possible for us to avoid a c-sec delivery. I would recommend her to all the couples who are looking for correct guidance and support in their journey of welcoming a baby to their lives.

I visited Deepika Mam for periods issues in January 2022 and diagnosed with PCOS, after the treatment my periods issue and PCOS got better with time.

In august 2022, I visited Mam again as we were planning for conceiving. I had a prior knee injury and gained some weight, so Mam asked me to take 3 months time, work on my diet, do exercises and then try as knee injury will cause more discomfort in pregnancy. She always guided us right and never pushed for anything just for the sake of it.

Then in November 2022, she guided us in our pre pregnancy journey and in March 2023, we got to know that we have conceived and from there on also, Mam was always there for us, always available to guide over call/message also.

She always pushed me that we will go for normal delivery. Always guided us with the right thing at the right time.

Be it exercises, shots, tests, diet etc.

Whatever was the ups and downs we had during our pregnancy, she was always supportive, never scared me over anything. She was always like “hume normal delivery krni” and pushing me to do everything which was required to be done.

And finally the D-day came, I was in labour for 16-17 hours and Mam patiently waited and not even once said let’s opt for c-section, not even once. And finally we had normal delivery only.

I am so so thankful for Deepika Mam, she was nothing less than a blessing for me. I had a wonderful experience with Mam and writing this detailed review, so that this review may help women in need and Mam may continue helping more and more women.
