Dr Niren Rao did his MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College and MS in general surgery from Safdarjung hospital and Vardhman Mahavir medical college.Thereafter he did his Mch in urology from the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences(AIIMS).During his training he worked on and assisted in robotic urologic surgeries using the Da Vinci i robotic system.He has a keen interest in renal transplantation having assisted more than 200 cases and is an accomplished laparoscopic surgeon.He has a vast experience of independently performing the whole range of various endourological procedures such as PCNL, RIRS, URS,TURP,TURBT and green light laser prostatectomy along with re-constructive urological procedures such as strictures, hypospadias and penile implants.His maxim is to provide personalised care to each patient using an honest approach as he believes in treating the patient not his reports.

I am late to give feedback. Mr. Nireo Rao proved as a genius for me. I visited him in June 2021 for Right Scrotal Abscess suffered due to post COVID complications. I had a small surgery at Max Mohali but still not recovered and they asked me for another surgery for removal of Scrotal. I was not prepared for same. Hence, for second opinion I found Mr. Rao at Practo and took appointment on same day. I also shared all my reports to him on WhatsApp before visiting him and requested him that I don't want to go for any type of surgery. However, he gave his best advice on phone and ask me to meet him in person. Next day I reached his palce and after meeting him all my worries went off like nothing happened. We had very brief discussion and after listening to me very carefully he advised for some medications for 15 days and asked to meet after 15 days. He assures me that No surgery is required at our last meeting and today I can vouch for his words and I am absolutely fit post his treatment. Thanks alot for your support and guidance. My wife was having pain in right side of tummy. After ultrasound in my hometown I was advised to undergo surgery otherwise her kidney would fail. For second opinion we consulted Dr Rao who examined her thoroughly and suggested some tests. He then told us that there is no problem at all and no surgery is needed. He prescribed some medicines and now my wife is alright. Thank God we consulted him. Thanks a lot sir
