I am sharing this review keeping in mind the problems most parents of teenagers face and how complex it can be to find a solution. My wife and I faced a similar situation – endless screen usage, lack of focus on studies and sports, a bit of disobedience and lethargy and unhealthy eating. We are not sure how it happened to our teenage kid, who was highly disciplined and one of the best in his class in school. Anyway, without panicking much, we visited a couple of counsellors, but it did not help much. We came across Dr. Sarika Boora, psychologist in Vasant Kunj, and she decided to hold the first session for us instead of the kid. I’ll not go into details of it, but yes, we had to take care of a few things at our end. She then counselled our child (four sessions) and we started seeing the results. It might go on for some more time but we are no more concerned because we know we are in safe hands being handled by the best psychologist in New Delhi (I am sure of it).

I owe it to her and this is why putting this review for her. It’s not that I am overly excited but for any parents who go through turbulent times seeing their kid go off-track and without any clear reason, it’s a great happiness to see things getting normal. Reasonable counselling fees (I wasted much more and spent valuable time looking for a good counselor), good office location – near to prominent schools like DPS, Bhatnagar, GD Goenka, The Heritage in Vasant Kunj, helpful support staff and well-maintained clinic/centre, overall availability and approach to counselling my teenage kid and parents – these make it the perfect experience. Thanks a lot, Dr. Sarika. You are poised for a successful career in the future. Best of luck.

Dr. Sarika is an amazing and skilled psychologist. The vibes and aura that she has around her will put you at ease. She has been very friendly from the beginning. I am not that person who easily opens up to people but Dr. Sarika provides a very safe and non judgemental space for discussing your issues which makes it very easy to open up to her. I found her at a point when i was going through the toughest phase of my life, i was literally stuck with my life, and felt as if I had nothing to look forward to, but her insights and perspectives have helped me look at things differently. Within first 4-5 sessions, i started feeling better and its been three months with her and i must say that not just she is an amazing psychologist but is also an amazing person, very calm, sweet and kind. She has all the time of this world to listen you, she listens and actually listens to understand you better. She helps you understand your issues more clearly from the root, helps in realising solutions to them and never panics you no matter how serious the issue is. The knowledge she has about her profession is amazing. She does not make sessions a task, and knows how to handle someone going through a mental health crisis with all the love, care, patience and empathy. She is definitely one of those therapists you would want to have in your times of need. She has guided me like a teacher and has developed hope in me. I genuinely look forward to each session with her. I have found a friend and guide in her. I am so grateful to her for being so supportive throughout. Taking therapy sessions with her has been the best decision in the process of my recovery. Couldn't have found a better therapist than her. Can't thank her enough. She is truly a great psychologist! I m 42 year old female, with a daughter of 7 yr.

Both we running in the bad phase of our life, having anxiety, depression and some psychological issues.

My daughter is start developing some behaviour issues, aggression, non mixing with other students in school.

She provides you with the tools to create actionable plans without pushing or pressuring you. She also shares a lot of great resources for you to pursue between sessions.

I’ve been seeing Dr Sarika for about 6 months now. I came to her an overworked stress head with no balance in life. With her help I’ve taken control back of my journey and feel refreshed and renewed ready to take on the world, while uncovering some root causes to this tendency. Dr Sarika is a wonderful listener and prompter who will never tell you what to do but has an amazing talent for helping you get yourself there. She’s also tough and there’s no hiding from yourself when you’re in session, you’ll reflect deeply afterward as well. Without my time with Dr Sarika my life right now would be very different and I’m grateful for her guidance and proud of myself for taking these steps.

In total, it’s been two years with Dr. Sarika Boora. I first met her at a Gurgaon hospital and then continued with her at the Vasant Kunj, New Delhi centre as I knew I was in the right hands. I've done several sessions with Sarika, and I must say, she is extremely talented in her line of work. Her passion to serve really shows up and it’s her care and deep knowledge that’s been instrumental in bringing me back from the verge of a mental breakdown to a point where I am able to hear my inner voice and do things that I love, enjoy, feel positive about and make everybody around me happy. I noticed strange changes in my child lately. Something that we never related with him. From being one of the coolest parents, we were suddenly the most distracted and confused ones. He was behaving as if he hated everything and wanted to be away from us and even the friends in his school. To make things normal, we simply knew we had to act fast, **** *** **** ************ *** give our best effort. Dr. Sarika Boora has been wonderful in this journey. We were looking for someone near our place but then we came across her, visited the clinic in Vasant Kunj and after a few sessions and some assessments and psychotesting (which are spot on), we can feel the difference. We have clarity on what were the shortcomings at our end, what we can do better and how we make a better parenting plan. My teenage daughter (she turned 13 last month) loves interacting with Dr. Sarika and we feel she is in safe hands. This has helped grow confidence in my teenage child and enables her to see things with a level of maturity. It is a long journey I know but I am glad that as parents, we have made the start. I highly recommend Dr. Sarika Boora to anyone looking for a psychologist for their pre-teen or teenage kids. She's just so good.

It was a great experience meeting her. She was able to diagnose accurately and the sessions helped me overcome my anxiety issues. Her sessions were practical, judgement free, confidential and feasible. My life is sorted and much better considering the external factors as still being constant.
