My father Mr. Rajkumar.G got admitted in MIOT hospital with major complaints of chest pain/Heart attack on Feb 19 2021. Dr. Viginesh Thanikgaivasan did an emergency recovery treatment followed by angiogram .My father had critical blocks in two vessels. Doctor Viginesh have patiently explained his health condition and prescribed the appropriate treatment. He was also friendly and very professional at his job. He took care of father very kindly and guided us in all aspects to take care of father.

After the (Stessthalium)procedure he was kind enough to meet us personally and explained the entire events of the procedure. Doctor gave a detailed advice while discharge regarding medications, diet, exercise and lifestyle modifications. I personally contacted doctor multiple times after discharge regarding small complaints, diet and medications. Doctor patiently replied to all my messages and solved my queries despite during his busy schedule.

My family is very thankful to him for his timely and excellent management of my father’s disease. My father couldn’t have got a better care than this.

We had a very positive experience in visiting Dr. Yashwanth. I am writing this feedback based on our visits to the doctor during the treatment of my father who has suffered from multiple complications including protein and sodium deficiency. Thanks to the care and effort of a team of doctors in MIOT, Chennai, my father's health condition has improved gradually. We have visited Dr. Yashwanth, a couple of times for consultation. Every time, he takes time to go through the reports for analyzing each value carefully. He studies and understands the patient's mental hesitations and physical problems. Then discusses in detail about the diagnosis and the treatment options. He lets us know options in medication, which and why the particular medication is suitable, before prescribing it. Apart from giving medications, he interacts with the patients and attenders to advise and suggest about the changes needed in the mindset and lifestyle of a person to lead a healthy and better life. My father who generally hesitates to discuss with doctors, opens up and talks with Dr. Yashwanth easily and now slowly realizes the changes needed in his lifestyle to achieve better health. A humble and expert doctor's treatment and talks are much required for speedy recovery, as it is very hard to go through a sickness. Highly recommend Dr. Hema Mala for all Liver related Issues and consultations With ASO and CRP being high in my blood reports for the past 4 years which bothered me and swelling of legs, ankles and severe itching happened suddenly during Apr 2023. Consulted a gastro enterologist and updated him all the symptoms. he gave me allergic tablets for itching and the problems resurfaced again after a brief period.After Taking CT, frequent blood and urine tests couldn't figure out why CRP levels are high and doctors suggested about body reacting to some inflammation. Finally, A fibroscan revealed severe fibrosis of liver which made me panic and raised my anxiety and hypertension levels.Diagnosing the issue is with Liver and wrong suggestions by different specialists to  go on a Low sodium 2 Litre diet , which is a check point for me and it damaged my kidneys 3 days after.With no sleep, high anxiety and low BP,  Consulted Dr. Hema Mala by 28-Aug-2023 and she listened to me patiently and heard me completely. She mentioned this liver is not going to kill me and not to have water restrictions of 2L.Dr. Hema Mala asked me to consider weight reduction seriously with a trainer and consider it as an investment to better life changes and healthier life and not to panic about the liver issues.She mentioned weight reduction should be considered in a war footing basis with diet and exercise.She has gone through my walking history and suggested, walking alone will not help and suggested strength training and follow dietician option as well.I have followed her suggestions and my anxiety levels have come down in a week, joined a gym and workout with a trainer and started endurance training, strength training along with cardio exercises which is helping me immensely with weight loss. Highly recommend Dr. Hema Mala for all Liver related Issues and consultations.
