Samvaad Speech Therapy Centre

My son is presently 7 years old, he has a speech delay and some behavioural issues.

We had been to many speech therapists and centre’s in Bengaluru over the years but did not observe any significant growth.

Two years ago we luckily got the reference of Samvaad marathalli centre and learned from them that ABA is the correct mode of treatment for such concerns.

In less than an year we observed considerable amount of growth in our kids speech and behaviour.

At Samvaad they have a very structured, logical and disciplined approach to address different speech/behavioural issues.

My 4 year old daughter was diagnosed with a mild ASD which hampered her interpersonal communication skills resulting in severe tantrums and non-cooperation. I went to Radhika Maam with very little hope, however she assured me that Applied Behavior Therapy (ABA) is the right line of treatment for my daughter, no meds required. With persistent therapy you will see radical transformation.

On the first day my daughter cried for 1.5 hours, but she sat with us patiently and waited for tantrum to die down. As parents we were apprehensive, but surprisingly it worked! Eventually, with every session there was improvement.

Now, after two months of regular therapy with Ms. Uttara (one of her therapist), my daughter has turned into an angel with absolute obedience and very very rare tantrums, that too die out in few minutes. Her communication skills, language, vocabulary is radically improved, and she would be ready for a regular school in June this year.

I am glad that I consulted her. Her experience in this field and impeccable knowledge of various behavior issues in children, is a boon for parents who are struggling with children with ASD, ADHD or simply behaviour issues.

We started my son's (3yr old then)therapy. He wasn't saying a single word independently at age of 3. With in two months he started saying one word request . In 4 months 2 words. In 6 months 4 words. By 10 months he used to use 5 to 6 words sentences. He didn't had patience and sitting tolerance. No understanding of any thing. After whole one yr daily therapy I would say his sitting tolerance is very much increased. He sit with me for one hr. He will focus , observe, listen and follow instructions. Therapy helped my son alot and hence he is able to focus and learn many more things. How ever there is alot of room for improvement but the foundation has been done by samvaad. My son's therapist Anusha did a awesome job. We are greatfull to her as well. I will suggest all parents to be consistent with therapy at clinic and at home , have patience and trust your therapist and doc.you will see the difference. I am very much satisfied with the doc and therapist.
