I had visited the doctor for voice and throat pain problems. With one glance, the doctor was quick to recommend laryngoscopy which was not even a digitally recorded one. Just holding an instrument down the back of the tongue with light. This cost 2000 rs which is very steep considering the doctor could have examined the same with his regular tools as well. I was detected with soft nodes on voice box but was given vomit and nausea meds for that. 5 days into treatment * ***** **** **** *** ********** ** ** ******

The doctor was extremely rude, *** *********** ********* ********* ********** *** *********** ***** ** ******** ************ Additionally, he screamed at me because he was asking me to make an “aye” sound, while I could only make an “aa” sound because he was holding very tightly to my tongue. He first took a very cursory look, and immediately asked for a “Rigid Laryngoscopy”, which Apollo billed me as “Laryngeal Endoscopy” costing Rs. 2,000. It was a 2 minute examination with a slim scope with light, only a slightly fancier version of the light and mirror (LME - Laryngeal Mirror Examination). There was no video or monitor, so the examination is not even a VRL (Video Rigid Laryngoscopy), so the charges are too high *** ********* **** *******

Doctor comes late and patients are never informed. But fees is taken full, no concession in that. This is my second instance

Doctor was not listening properly. He was talking with other people all time who were there for demo of some medical machine.

He was talking business on phone for 10 mins with we in room, and after 1.5 hr delay to clinic. Did not explain any and asked us to take an x-ray first.
