We have consulted Dr.Ravi after my father was diagnosed with Diabetes with levels (FBS - 173 and PLBS - 238) and 9.3% HbA1c. Support from the staff is good and yes as others mentioned in their reviews lady in the reception is too rude . ********* ********** ** ****** *** ** ********* **** within 5 days of usage levels came down to 106 and 166.
cons:
- Doctor didn't speak patiently (In the initial days he should speak patiently as that boosts the morale of the patient)
- No drinking water provided in the cellar
- No sanitizer stand
- Video calls /audio calls/ virtual admission is suggested for every one due to covid , that might not be satisfactory for all
- only 10% discount is given in the pharmacy despite the high cost(other pharmacy give 20% for above 1000)
pros:
- Lab reports are given within 2 hrs of time (best of all labs)
- Diet chart is provided
- Proper guidance is given by sisters and staff
- Doctor review in the last for everyone(though it is only for 10minutes)

I have been taking treatment for diabetes under Dr. Ravi at [Hospital Name] for the past 10 years. My sugar levels are now well controlled and stable. Dr. Ravi is patient, explains everything clearly, and adjusts the treatment as needed. The hospital staff is supportive and the overall care is excellent. I would definitely recommend this hospital and Dr. Ravi to anyone looking for consistent diabetes care.

My experience with Dr. Ravi Kumar's practice was a mixed bag. While the doctor ultimately provided a diagnosis and treatment plan, the process to get there was lengthy, inefficient, and raised some concerns. The Process:Getting care here is a multi-day commitment. * Day 1: Primarily involves interacting with staff for history taking and being directed to their diagnostic center for tests, even if you have recent results for the issue you're visiting for. * Day 2: Dedicated to sample collection and testing at their facility. * Day 3: This involved a long wait (around 2-3 hours total) for a consultation, first with a junior doctor for a more detailed history based on test results (and suggestions for more tests), followed by a very brief (approx. 10 minutes) initial meeting with Dr. Ravi Kumar himself. * Final Day: Another appointment, this time involving a 2-hour wait for the main consultation with Dr. Ravi Kumar, which lasted about 20-25 minutes. He did provide a clear diagnosis and outlined a treatment path during this interaction*********** * ******* ********** *** **** ***** ******** ************* *** *** **** ** ******** *** ****** * Diagnosis Provided: I did leave with a diagnosis and a proposed treatment plan.Concerns: * Excessive Wait Times: Be prepared for long waits at multiple stages of the process. The time spent waiting often significantly exceeded the actual consultation time, especially the 2-hour wait on the final day for a relatively short interaction. * Inefficient Structure: The multi-day process felt drawn out. Having to go through staff, then a junior doctor, before seeing the main doctor (and repeating tests) felt inefficient. * Treatment Approach: While a treatment was offered, I wasn't entirely comfortable with the specific approach recommended, as it didn't seem like the most optimal path, even if it might yield some positive results. * ********* ***** ** ******** *** ********** ** ***** ***** *** ********** ******* ********* ***** ************** *** *** **** ******* ************* ******** ***** ***** ******** ****** **** **** ************ **** *** ********** **** ******* ********** ***** ** *********** **** ******* *********** *** *********** **** ******* ***** ** **** **** **** **************** **** *** **** **** * ****** ******** ** ******** ******** ******** ****** ***** *******Overall:If you choose this practice, be aware that while Dr. Ravi Kumar seems competent, the process requires significant time investment and patience due to long waits (like the 2-hour wait on the final day) and a multi-step approach. Be prepared for potential pressure to use their in-house services and supplementary treatments. He never listens to the doubts the patient's family asks and is always busy. During consultations, he does not clearly communicate what has improved or not. They also do not inform if reports are ready unless repeatedly asked.

I went to consult for my dad he is a type 2 diabetic patient. For the first time ever I have seen an endocrinologist say it’s ok to eat everything to a patient and can have 1 litre milk and half litre curd a day . Just fix the insulin pump whenever you are ready it will sort out the problem. I always thought diabetes is a lifestyle disease and this doctor made me feel it’s just insulin regulation and no diet required . The package would have costed 1.5 lakh that includes insulin pump rent for 7days and folllw up consultations for 3 months. From the time we entered the hospital, they took a longer route before sending us to the main doctor . They sent us for test which were done recently at other hospital but was asked to repeat it . Once we met the doctor he was least bothered about anything else other than insulin pump . So if one doesn’t want to get a pump then is there no way to control diabetes is my question. Horrible experience and we wasted almost 4 hours at the hospital and money *** ***** ***** **** *** ******** ** *** ****** ** ** *** *** *** **** ******* ******* . *** **** ****** *** **** ** **** **** * ** ** *********** **** ***** ***** *** ** ******* *** ** ****** *
I wish more people know about them and their practice Doctor never went through the reports either or even gave any medicines . He wanted to prescribe injections for weight loss other than that no other interest shown in the patient . My father kept asking if any changes needed in the diet or meds but he just said fix the pump you will be fine … ** *** ***** ***** *** **** * *** ** *** ********** **** ******** *** ** ******** ** ******* ******* *

Very bad experience and I won't recommend the doctor to anyone. I went to visit the doctor to show Thyroid reports and get the medication. I had already taken T3, T4 and TSH reports from outside lab.
There is pre-consultation in the hospital and we need to meet them before seeing doctor. During pre-consultation they recommend lot of tests on top of what we have already taken. They said that Free T4 and Thyroid scan is mandatory to give the medication. They fear the patients by showing other people reports. They have lab in the hospital and they say that it would take only an hour to get the scan and other tests done.
If we don't go for lab test doctor starts insisting for lab tests. For me T3, T4 are normal and TSH had cross little bit from the limit. For giving the medicine, doctor said he can't give the medication without having Thyroid scan. Doctor and the team insisted me to go for lab tests. Even before I responded, nurse had taken my file to lab room and they had arranged for scan.
"DR. RAVI KUMAR SAID HE CAN'T WRITE THE MEDICINE IF I DON'T GO FOR THYROID SCAN".
I said that I won't go for any further tests and asked to return my consultation back if the doctor is not willing to give the medicine.
For my surprise, doctor said that since T3 and T4 are normal he can give the medication.
I STRONGLY DON'T RECOMMEND THE DOCTOR.

I had visited the doc for my thyroid issue (I recently got diagnosed with TSH count at .01 uLU/ml). However I didn't had any physical problems associated with thyroid. So I went to have his opinion. I reported at 9:30, one junior doc has first screened my reports and suggested further investigations like ultrasound, scanning and other blood test. The reports were ready by 12 and I was allowed to meet. Dr. Ravi Kumar, and he without even explaining my health issue has recommended surgery as if he is cutting a piece of cake. When I asked is there any alternative. He said you have to come every month and undergo the same test. Then we will advise you medicines and this goes on month after month and he left without caring to listen to my apprehensions and his assistant doctor has typed some medication and left with the doctor without even explaining the situation.i visited without any health issue just to take his opinion. But he suggested surgery which is very shocking and he has no time to sit with his patients and explain the situation. This is very horrible, thank you
