Dr. Varun Khandagale

Dr. Varun Khandagale is a gastroenterologist, hepatologist and therapeutic endoscopist at Sadhu Vaswani Missions Medical Complex in Koregaon Park, Pune, with 20 years of experience, ten of them in internal medicine. He completed his MBBS at Rural Medical College, Loni, in 2005, followed by a DNB in General Medicine in 2012 and a DNB in Gastroenterology in 2016 from the National Board of Examinations, and has fellowship training in advanced endoscopy. He is registered with the Maharashtra Medical Council and was consultant gastroenterologist at Gastro & Liver Care Clinic, Swargate, from 2018 to 2021.His medical gastroenterology practice covers inflammatory bowel disease including ulcerative colitis, peptic ulcers, gastritis and acidity, irritable bowel syndrome, constipation, haemorrhoids, liver disease and obesity management.His endoscopy work includes gastroscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP, polypectomy, oesophageal dilatation and stenting, endoscopic band ligation and sclerotherapy, endoscopic management of bleeding ulcers, and endoscopic removal of foreign bodies.
