Dr. Khamkar Kundan Hanumant

A year and a half ago, I had admitted my 81 year old father in Ruby Hall Clinic, Hinjewadi,for Diabetes and Hyponatremia. There, we were assigned to the care of Dr.Kundan H.Khamkar. Since then, my father's diabetic condition and overall health has improved remarkably. One late night, a few months back, I had to take my father to the Emergency Ward in the Ruby Hall Clinic, Hinjewadi. It was dark and I was frantic with worry, and did not look around. Dr. Khamkar was just then leaving from the hospital after his visit. He was about to ignite his car when he saw us drive into the hospital. Out of the goodness of his heart, he parked his car and came to check on my father. I saw him walk in and that brought me immense relief. After long years of hunting for a doctor with equal amounts of skill, expertise and humaneness, I finally feel safe for my father's health management. He is very approachable and friendly. With a warm smile on his face, he listens to his patients with empathy and understanding. When I asked my father as to how he feels about his treatment under Dr. Khamkar, this is what he said, \"I have been diabetic for 35 yrs. During this period, I have consulted a good number of diabetologists. Now I am under the care of Dr. Kundan Khamkar. I can say, without any exaggeration, that Dr.Khamkar is by far superior and much more than what I expected. His hands are healing with a divine touch. ** **** ** ***** ** ** *** **** ****** * **** ********* ** ** **** ******* ****** Patient, friendly attitude, willing to take questions and answer them patiently. Very different from many other doctors who tend to show a cavalier and condescending attitude. Hope his prescriptions work from me. I think a doctor's attitude towards the patients is half the treatment and he has done a good job. Even the dietician/nutritionist who happens to be his wife is nice and good at what she is doing. Overall a pleasant experience visiting their clinic.

Dr. Khamkar is really appreciative as he is truly concerned about the patient’s health issues apart from that he do suggests about the precaution and other measures that can be taken to prevent the disorders. It took me a month to control my TSH as I had a very high TSH issue. My husband has diabetes whereby the doctor proves very supportive where it comes to his health. Apart from medicines the clinic has many other facilities whereby we have options for herbal treatments too, I am really very happy and thankful to the doctor with the treatment we both are going through.

I visited doctor for pre-sugar treatment and high blood pressure. Dr. Rani listened to my all issues very patiently and then Dr. Kundan also did the same with smile on their faces. Since this is my first visit, but I am expecting a nice start with them in my journey of recovery from high blood pressure and sugar.

The receptionist don't know the meaning of an appointment. If you have booked appointment for 8:30 pm you have to wait there till 9:45 pm and still they are allowing other people to go first no matter they came after you...and than you have to leave the place as after giving assurance that you will go next they again send someone else.

If someone is asking you route and reach 10-15 min late

1. You can ask them while they were asking you the location that ... Sir/ ma'am you are going to be late please book appointment for tomorrow as we are already full.

2. Or if the person reached there 15 min late. They can still say them to book another appointment.

And not ask them to wait ( for 2-4 hr) to see the doctor .

Or specify that you have to wait for 1 hr and let the decision on the patients whether they want to wait or not.

Other's time is also IMPORTANT. Please be professional.

Worst appointment

The interaction was very good. I was able to convey my issues without any hesitation as he was very approachable. and kind of suggestions provided was really logical and positive co.pared to other doctors which I have visited earlier. I would recommend him definitely.

Dr khamkar is very friendly and listen all your problems very seriously. Give solution on them. And deitician and other staff is also supportive. His diet plan helps me in throughout my pregnancy,helps to control sugar which affect the baby.
