I am in a typical mood today, the mood to travel through the memory lane. cover as much distance as long as the mood effect remains. Well Doctor, quite often I reduce my thoughts to writing. As you will go line by line, you will realize I feel lost and need to talk to a friend. Today ‘YOUR. name surfaced. ’

Only a very few of the whole lot of people that we come across in life, leave an impact, irrespective of the field they come from. I am no exception. My life of 71 years too has the same experience. They reinforce one’s thoughts that the world is filled with kind-hearted individuals too, professionals 100 per cent dedicated to their profession, and yes, when it comes to thinking of the Medical profession, the service to the human s / other creatures. The performance of some of them encourages us to live on., live on with faith. Only their presence creates a ray of hope. One does feel protected when being treated by such. I have cherished their memory.

As you know, my wife had been ailing for some 4 years. Had to be hospitalized in Pune almost every month. Obviously, we would interact with many medicos. I remember with reverence one such doctor of the above-described type. Yes, it is --- YOU , --- Dr. Gaurav Joshi ( Khasgiwale. ) I and the patient used to feel relaxed after your round. Very attached to us, the patients in general. Fully involved in the patients/attendants. , so much so that, even if your duty would be on some other floor, other than where the patient was taking treatment, you would drop in the room to say hello -- काय काकु कश्या आहात --- A smile of gratitude and relief would appear on her face. Shall I say thank you !!!

A few months back I had to go America on vacation. Dr, you came to know. Immediately you made some special medicines for my use there, so that I remain Intact and return so. Your dose came to my help , did never have any health complaint, have returned intact, as you so wanted. When asked for the fees, I remember – “ my safe return is your fees. “ So nice of you.

And yes, very recently, I complained about my mental discomfort. You, in some3 / 4 days bought me a book on Dr. Ram Bhosale by Justice Dhananjay Deshpande. And also made me more aware of the Geeta. I needed some information on Mediation. Without any loss of time, you did demonstrate the method to start with, and provided me with some telephone numbers of the institutes conducting meditation courses. Seems you just are waiting for an opportunity to be of some assistance to your patients / their relatives.

Though I was only an attendant, he would offer health-related tips. In my his guidance used to be for my leg pain, less amount of sleep. He would demonstrate some Yoga exercises, prescribe some medicines. As it was all filled with just with service motto of the medical profession, mixed with affection., that used to work.

Yes, Doctor Gaurav, people need your service that has a big portion of your own faith, confidence, so do take care of yourself first.

I am visiting Dr. Gaurav place since a year and half now for my fathers kidney problems. We have experience betterment in my father's health. Earlier we use to do 3 dailysis per week but now it has came down to 2/week. Also we have seen that Ayurvedic medicine which we receive is helping my father in regular motions by which he feels much energetic which is also a plus. The doctor attended me at predetermined time, he checked me and then informed me about the problem. He explained me that this is( Umbilical hernia) surgical issue but will try to cure it by medicines only. He estimated total duration of 6 months to cure. Intially he gave me medicines for 2weeks, then measurable progress was observed. He then again gave me medicines for 2 weeks. After second visit, now he has given me medicines for a month as I am not required to frequently visit. My hernia has reduced considerably, my movements are Swift and without any pain.

I am 68 years old female, started having difficulty in breathing in 2010 and have been taking treatment for the same which used to give me temporary relief.
