I must thank Dr. Rohit Luthra *** *** ********** ***** ** ********** ** ***************** **** *********** ** **** *** ****** His talent and caring manner is a credit to the medical profession. His is truly a life saver.

In spite of his very busy schedule he explained me in details about my knee surgery. His patience and understanding before and after the operation, in addition to his tremendous skill in operating is greatly appreciated. I can not thank him enough.

Pre operation was a very bad time in my life. He prepared me mentally to partial knee replacement by showing me videos of other patents who could walk on the very next day after surgery or on the same day itself. He offered me morel support. I will never forget his kindness. Now after 4 weeks after surgery and rehab I have no knee joint pain. My only regret is that did not have them replace sooner.

I cannot put into words how truly thankful, grateful and blessed I am for all care, kindness and tenderness Dr.Luthra has shown me. I thank GOD that he put me in his care. I will forever be grateful to him. his treatment coupled with caring attitude of his team and hospital staff has helped me attain fast recovery. Before surgery I associated the word surgery with misery but after surgery by you I associate surgery with Healthy Recovery.

There is other side of this event that my both the daughters though staying in USA discussed in details with Dr. Luthra before surgery and fixed the date with him in such a way that any one of them could present during hospitalization. Many times my daughters talked to Dr. Luthra at very late night time since Dr.Luthra was extremely busy in day time and even at 10 pm he was in his clinic so he requested to call them after 10.30 pm. In spite of his busy schedule he replied to all the questions of my daughters. More than a good doctor my daughters value the fact that he is a good listener.

I started walking with no help on third day of my operation. After three weeks, every day was better than the day before. It was not medicines, but your reassuring words which gave me the strength to pull through my illness. Your comforting words of support gave me much more reassurance that the antibiotics I was taking during the time of treatment.

My mother had a lot of difficulty walking as both her knees were in bad shape. The left leg was particularly bad as it was bent outwards and extremely painful (later we came to know by almost 25 degrees).

We went to meet Dr Rohit Luthra at Arcus Hospital after reading the positive reviews on the net. Dr Luthra explained all the options open to us and the procedure very clearly. He came across as warm, patient and caring and that helped. It was quite clear to my mother that we had come to the right place .

My mother underwent Total Knee replacement for both knees in February 2020. She was in the hospital for 4 days thereafter. What was unbelievable was that she was able to stand for a few minutes beside her bed the very next day after the surgery. During the next few days stay in the hospital we were very impressed by the conduct of the Arcus staff. The nurses, physiotherapists and doctors were very attentive. Dr Rohit Luthra visited the room everyday sometimes twice a day to monitor the progress and answered all our queries and encouraged my mother every time. Slowly and steadily my mother was able to walk in the corridor and after 3 days climb a few stairs in the hospital.

She underwent physiotherapy for 3-4 weeks after coming home. After that every week the progress was steady and noticeable.

Today it is more than 3 months since the surgery. My mother is able to walk comfortably , the pain she used to experience is gone. Her quality of life and well being has increased tremendously due to that. My mother and our family is grateful to Dr Rohit Luthra and the Arcus hospital staff for all their help in making this possible.

I had my mother's knee replacement surgery done on Sep 6, 2018 by Dr. Luthra. Words are not sufficient to express the feelings behalf of my mother but saying that "its a new life for her" would not be an over-statement. He managed a very critical case with quite an ease. My mother's right knee was bent inwards where the joints were having rough surfaces and bone spurs rubbing against each other. Her ligaments were also out of shape due to the knee problem which she was struggling since couple of years. Doctor Luthra advised that due to the ligament which is also out of shape we might need higher implants to achieve the normal range of motion, however he also assured that it would be in the extreme scenario where it is not manageable by normal implant during the procedure. I must say even I could see the x-rays and still doctor achieved the perfect results with the basic implant. 4 days after the procedure my mother was out of the hospital. Some days of physiotherapy helped her achieve her full range of motion. After 3 months my mother is completely recovered. She has stopped all medicines advised. She goes on walk, plays with her grandson and doing all her routine works by herself. She at times forgets that one of her knee was not normal couple of Months back. :) Thank you doctor for being so learnt in your trade, yet being so humble and dedicated.
