I had a great Doctor and His team. The anesthesia worked pretty well and the painkillers too we're good.

Am out 18th day post surgery and my knee is gaining strength. I was able to bend my knee almost 90 degree in the 1st 10 days. I started walking without the Walker in just a week's time...but not recommended :).

My friends have gone through ACL surgery and the pain that they had to go through...so initially I was worried.

But since am someone who has a never give up attitude...I could lift my spirit up look at the brighter side. I am religiously doing my rehab....plus at home I do lot of icing and strengthening exercises.

The best part of this surgery is Dr. Kamat...he would listen patiently..and knows what he is doing and gives you that confidence that everything is gonna be ok.

Dr. Kamat was very calm and attentive while listening and examining, quite reassuring that all is going to be fine with prescribed medication. He very well explained what could be the possible reason for the pain and what can be done to avoid it. He didn't straight away ask to come for exercise sessions but suggested that it needs to be done once pain subsides and the medicines course is finished.

My course of medicine is still on, hoping to get relief soon.

Excellent experience. Helped explain the situation and reason for the same. Helped us understand what treatment he is planning and why. Unlike a lot of famous doctors, didn't let us feel that he was in a hurry to take care of other patients.

Well spoken and gives ample time to explain the situation.

Couple of other doctors had recommendations replacement whereas Lamar sir over 2 sessions interacted with my mom n then suggested as he would to his aunt to go for plate surgery.

I had a terrible experience firstly with the doctor being punctual. After I visit the clinic, the appointment is rescheduled by over 1:30 hours due to a surgery. No prior intimation.

Secondly, each time you call the appointment is given exactly 14 days away. I tried multiple times but in vain for a sooner appointment.

Third, visiting as a walk-in at Jehangir is the most terrible experience.

Operated for a meniscus tear surgery on the knee about a month ago. Dr. Kamat ensures he makes you feel very comfortable. He is patient and will advise the best treatment. The pain in my knee has reduced to almost nothing. He also has a great team working with him. The recommended physiotherapy has worked well. Dr Kamat is a highly professional Doctor who does not mince words while treating a patient. I have found his to be very patient and indulgent while treating me. In fact, such was his behavior that he has now become our trusted family Doctor. He has treated my entire family now including surgeries. We have no issues with him.

I went to Dr. Kamat for ACL and meniscus surgery. He explained in a very nice way process associated with surgery.

The surgery went well and the follow-up sessions were also very beneficial for me.

Dr. Kamat is unlike other doctors who would make you frighten especially when it comes to surgical procedures. He was very calm and gave us a good explanation of the reason why the ACL issue came up, how surgery is going to performed and what thing needs to be kept in mind post surgery.
