Me and my wife went to the Dr. Nandini Shete for Pregnancy and delivery. We had a wonderful experience.
- She helped us have a normal delivery and my wife recovered in only 2-3 days :)
- She is very experienced doctor. Her experience in the field is more than my wife's age!
- She always kept things simple. No unnecessary tests and sonography etc. She only recommends tests/medicines which are absolutely necessary. Dr. Nandini madam never over-complicate things.
- We always felt that we were in safe hands and we never had to worry about anything. Just followed her simple instructions. Dr. Nandini never gave unnecessary tension.
- Dr. Nandini madam have a senior and strict personality. And talks concise - to the point.
- Dr. Nandini madam have command over hospital staff. You can see this at the time of delivery.
- She understand patient's non-medical issues like discharge from hospital, travel/time convenience for regular checkups etc. and looks into it promptly. Try to keep things simple.

I was unfortunate enough that on 40th week of pregnancy my doctor told me I cant have a normal delivery while through out my check ups with her, she didn't say a word about c section. I was admitted to hospital and didn't know Nandini Shete till then, I just chose a random names from the doctor list they gave me. She came and calmly made me agree for c sec as the baby may be in danger. During operation and after that, during follow ups, I really was touched my her calmness and caring nature. Planning to follow up with her for my next pregnancy as well. I m sure if I were to visit her from 1st for this pregnancy, I wouldn't have this sudden c sec.

Key points:
1.) Doctor seems friendly in first go.
2.) She pushes for specific pathologic clinic.
3.) She doesn't take questions in positive way.
4.) Did not provide prescription (strange isn't it), upon asking she took it in negative way and started pointing fingers
5.) Adamant on certain ********** tests.
6.) It looks like common problems reported by patient doesn't matter (she argued it is not related to pregnancy and ..... silent). I don't recommend this doctor. Getting a prescription is the right of patient and one can't take him/her for a ride. Later if something happens, or you want to claim it to an insurer you don't have sufficient documents. It is good that I understood it in second visit itself.
