After struggling with non-responsive treatments, unnecessary tests and unsupportive doctors for two years, we found Dr. Mithil Patil through Practo search. When we first visited him in 2019 beginning, he listened to our problems patiently, advised various methods and suggested the treatment and some light exercise. After a month when we had our first sonography, he assured us that everything is normal, we need not stress and we will surely be able to conceive. During the treatment, we had many questions, doubts to which doctor attended patiently. It can only be attributed to our tough luck that it took us 2 years of treatment to conceive. But, finally the doctor’s efforts paid off and we are blessed with twins.

The doctor is very knowledgeable in his field. He tailored a suitable treatment course for us based on difficulties we faced. He is very clear about the findings of the tests he conducts that he never once advised us unnecessary tests. As we were already trying for 2 years, he directly suggested IUI processes. Due to my previous experience at one of Pune’s reputed hospital, I was sceptical and afraid of IUI. However, under Dr. Patil’s supervision and care, the processes were pain-free, stress-free and I did not face any discomfort. After initial failure, Dr. Patil improved my treatment process, changed some medications and advised for further treatment. The medical facilities at the hospital are very good, meds prescribed by doctor are mostly tried and tested with maximum efficiency. The doctor also advices you on keeping a healthy and positive attitude towards process and counsels one in order to increase the receptivity of treatment. He also keeps a close look-out on in-patients through his nursing staff in order to speed-up the recovery.

As someone who is afraid of physical pain, my entire time at the hospital was painless. Be it series of injections that were prescribed during the processes or various operative procedures that I had to undergo, the physical pain that I experienced was next to negligible. The post-operative care is very satisfactory in which doctor’s active involvement is seen from time to time. The nursing staff is supportive, empathetic and very attentive towards patients. Ashwini Hospital is very clean, hygienic and pleasant. The whole atmosphere at the hospital combined with care of nursing staff is very helpful in making you relax and be hopeful towards treatment procedure.
