"Dr.Manoj Durairaj is a well-known heart surgeon in Pune. He is known for his amazing heart transplant skills. At present, he is working as the Chief Heart Transplant Surgeon and Head of the Department of Heart and Lung Transplantation at Sahyadri Hospitals. He is also known as the best Cardio-Thoracic Surgeon/ Heart Transplant Surgeon in Pune.Dr. Manoj Durairaj, an ex Vincentian, has done MS General surgery from AFMC(Gold Medal) and M.Ch. in Cardiac Surgery at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. He completed his Fellowship in Bypass Surgery under Professor Brian Buxton, the University of Melbourne in the year 2005 and returned to Pune. Dr Durairaj is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.At present, he is the Director of Cardiac Surgery at the Marian Cardiac Centre located at East Street Pune Camp. He is a specialized Heart Transplant Surgeon & has started the Department of Heart and Lung Transplant at Sahyadri Hospitals, Pune. Dr Manoj does an incredible job in his work. He was the one to perform the first Heart Transplant in Pune along with his team.
