Phase I: The problem
I was diagnosed with TB, but it escalated to collapsed left lung, with major infection in left lung and severe Hyrdo-Pneumothorax. When Dr. Pawar took my case I was living on just 1 lung. The escalation was major as even after 2 ICD's and haemo fluid drain my lung was not expanding, as a result of major cortication on lung walls. I also had pleural effusion and there was contact of lung walls, due to which my lung would never expand.
Phase II: The Saviour
When we shifted our treatment to Dr. Mahesh Pawar at KEM hospital things started to look better. Firstly, He was very friendly and very confident that surgical intervention was required in order to save or re-expand my left lung. The level of authority he had on my condition was above brilliance. A lot of other doctor's were of the opinion that my lung should be removed.
Phase III: The Resolution
Thoracotomy, De-Cortication and Segmental Lobectomy was suggested, well that scares you off, but Dr. Mahesh Pawar insisted me that I have confidence in myself and assured my family members that he will do the best he can. Well guess what, the surgery lasted for 8-9 hours, my family members clinging to their seats outside the OT, Dr. Pawar came out to them and said, "The Operation was successful, my lung was not removed and everything went well", all the while I was out. But when I woke up, he told me "Don't worry we took care of it and all looks good" Finally I was Alive.
Phase IV: The Recovery
The stiches were removed by him and he looked and me and said. You look excellent.
I believe, if it would not have been for Dr. Mahesh Pawar, I would have become history by now. ** ** *** **** ****** * **** ***** I recommend everyone who have critical illness visit him, he will guide you the best and you shall recover absolutely fine.

A very friendly personality of Dr. Pawar, which makes you comfortable and leaves you with a sigh of relief. Amazing experience, as he explained the main point of the problem with a lot of patience and with perfect diagnosis. He was there for us when we wanted him the most. The methodology of his work really amazes us, as he shows tremendous zeal towards his work as well as towards taking care of his patients. We would surely recommend him, as his patient, an 81 yrs old grandma is really happy and is also doing really well. Thank you so much sir.

My mother was diagnosed with endometrial carcinoma. Dr Mahesh Pawar guided us through proper and precise diagnosis first and then performed surgery. Now my mother is fine and recovering. The overall experience has been good. Dr Pawar has been very much helpful throughout the treatment. Good part is he explained about desease and treatment process so well that boosted confidence of a cancer patient and relatives, which is an important part in treatment of such cases.
Dr Pawar and his support staff has been supportive and my mother was treated with due care.
