Visited For Abdominal Pain Treatment
Happy with: Doctor friendlinessExplanation of the health issueTreatment satisfaction
I ashish bolke, age 29, from Nagpur Maharashtra, have been suffering from acute necrotising pancreatitis and got cured under treatment by Dr. Vidyachandra Gandhi sir.
I would like to give detailed review because I got positive results from treatment. It all started a year ago when I used to have irregular abdominal pain, sometimes sevior back pain and uneasy sleep. Many of times I noticed a vomit feeling after every meal for half an hour but nothing would happen. I also had digestion problem sometimes. In early stages this symptoms were ingnored considering normal but soon after we consulted nearby doctor they suggested to consult gastrologist for further detailed treatment.
Since I was in hometown nagpur we consulted 2-3 Gastrologist in our city , they did all types test related to blood, CT scan etc . They gave initial medication treatment and said nothing to worry and will be cured in a month. After completing as mentioned medication I somehow got relief but sometimes the pain use to rise again, this continued for 3 months.
Eventually I visited pune for personal work, I was there for about 15 days, everything was fine but oneday I got sevior abdominal pain and difficulty in breathing which further resulted in admitting me to nearby hospital by my roommates. Here they treated me for two days with reference to my previous symptoms but nothing progressive found. After that I was shifted to second hospital i.e Life point hospital wakad .Till this point my colleagues knew this is critical situation and called up my parents. Here I was shifted to icu with life support and RT feed with no water intake for nearly 4 days. Here I was stabilised somehow but pain was still there so doctors instructed my parents that patient needs advance icu treatment wich would be available in multispeciality hospitals only. This led to a turning point where my parents jointly decided to shift me to Ruby hall clinic near railway station pune.
Here we met Dr v Gandhi sir (recomended by Dr. Hedge ) here they immediately shifted me to LICU for under observation with RT feed and life support for 18 days. During this period they took all related blood tests, CT scan, sonography and they found unwanted fluid accumulation in abdomen with infection to lungs. Here they inserted a CT guide fluid collecting tube in side stomach. Doctors recommended us 1 month of observation which would minimise the disease upto operatable condition. Correct after a month I was successfuly Operated. Post operation I was relifed from pain but I was attached with drain tubes on both side of stomach. After 15 days I got discharged and instructed for for complete rest so I got shifted to my home. Gradually I started taking meal and recovery was observed. The fluid drain tube were supposed to be removed within a month, but in my case it took 4 months. It was difficult for me to suffer this personaly and also it costed in several lakhs to me & my family. My all family members helped me in every needful aspect ,but atlast my disease was cured.
I would truly be thankful to doctor for curing me from this disease and would surely recomend. I I hope this review would be helpful for people who may have similar abdomen related issues.

I am a resident of Jabalpur. (M.P.) It was a very satisfactory and heartfelt experience of my entire life which I have witnessed with Dr VC Gandhi. I am very grateful to Dr VC Gandhi for his duties and responsibilities which he disposed dleigently with honesty and simplicity. He is really very genuine doctor really working for mankind. His humbleness towards his patients is always at the peak. A very soft-spoken, simple and ever smiling doctor. On his every visit, his expression and way of talking along with his soft voice delivers you from pain and decease. The way he explained about my problems is really appreciatable and beyond words. I was suffering nearly for two years from my abdominal pain, and I had visited approximately 5-6 hospitals for treatment but of no use. All the doctors said I am suffering from acute Pancreatitis and further doctors said I have chronic Pancreatitis. The doctors of Jabalpur and NAGPUR were unable to diagnose my real issue/problems 4-5 CT Scans and MRI along with other clinical tests were taken but I did not get any relief, instead my situation was worsening and my health was declining day by day. I nearly lost 10 to 12 kg within 8 months.
But luckily I visited Noble Hospital, where I was suggested to meet Dr VC Gandhi. He examined me and I showed him all my reports and clinical tests of past 1 year, I was really taken up when I saw him analysing all my reports very keenly with extreme patience, he took his own time, not at all in any type of hurry though there was lots of patients in waiting. I was really very much amazed and surprised when he asked for the scans .i.e. the film's and CDs of my 4 CT scans and MRI. He was the first doctor in past 2 years who has seen my film. Otherwise all the doctors to whom I had gone for treatment never looked for the films instead they only read my report and concluded about my issue. After that he really diagonised my real issues which the doctors of JBP and NGp were unable to diagnose. He said I have a mild Pancreatitis but that was not a major issue, the major issue was my enlarged spleen my Spleen was enlarged by 16.7 cm which the doctors didn't pay attention to, instead they were treating me for gastric and chronic Pancreatitis. Dr Gandhi suggested for a surgery to remove my Spleen which was extremely enlarged in size 16.7 CMs as per my reports.
He did my surgery of spleenoctomy, which was successful. After a long time I got relief from all types of pains. Dr Gandhi is very honest, patience doctor. I appreciate his humbleness. His friendliness towards his patients along with their family members is beyond imagination. He explained each and every minor and major issues pertaining to the surgery taking his own time, any time not at all in hurry. Though being a busy surgeon, he never shows or expresses that he is busy or doesn't have time to respond. Each and every miniute and major queries were clarified to my family members. His response towards his patients offtime is very positive. After the surgery also he responded timely when required. He is really an ambassador of God and works very deligentely. May God give him more wisdom, knowledge and intelligence and increase his intelectual level so that many more lives may be saved from a simple human being like Dr VC Gandhi.
That's to Noble Hospital, Hadapsar, Pune for Dr VC Gandhi.

The patient had frequent abdominal pain, so we consulted a Doctor at a Hospital in Bhosari for treatment. Even after medication the pain was not subsiding. So as per Drs Prescription, Sonography was performed and the issue was gall bladder stones. So Dr. Suggested laparoscopic surgery for gall bladder removal. After the surgery ther was bile leak which went on increasing daily to a drain of 500 ml. Even after draining the bilirubin count was not normal. Later on MRCP was performed and it was found that the main bilary duct was damaged .Another endoscopy was performed which was of no use The complication went on increasing as there was also a leak somewhere in the billary duct .After repeated examination it was found an injury to the bile duct.Another Drain pipe was inserted to drain the bile juice collection from the leak. The patient was shattered as he had to bear the pain along with the drain bags for more than 1 and half months. Later we consulted Dr. Vidhyachandra Gandhi for expert advice on further treatment. He suggested few more tests and advised to admit in a hospital in Pimpri. There we experienced a holistic treatment from the hands of Dr. Gandhi V. They extended their services as a Family member and explained very patiently and clearly regarding the illness and the processes of surgery. Later very soon we got excellent treatment from there and patient got cured within 2-3 weeks. We feel God's hand worked through Doctor Gandhi and his colleagues for a successful surgery. We don't know how to express our hearty thanks to Doctor and all the team for their very sincere and kindly approach to this case. We pray that May Almighty God reward them immensely from his treasure of real love , wisdom and mercy.
Thank you

I am suffering by ulcerative colitis& high level fistula, to recover these disease end colostomy did14 years ago by other doctor. As fistula & ulcers recovered I want to reconnect large intestine in normal way from last 3-4 years but many doctors told that it is not possible to reconnect large intestine as it is, their opinion is that sigmoid colon and rectum should be removed/taken out then will connect remaining part of large intestine to anal-rectum junction, which I never want.
In the month September 2019,I met Dr Vidyachandra Gandhi. Dr Gandhi heard my medical history very carefully and assured me that he will do the colostomy closer operation without removing any intestinal part only after positive result of some test/check up.He given me moral support. CT scan report is not favarable for direct connection. While operation Dr Gandhi checked my large intestine physically and taken decision to connect intestine without removing any part of intestine. Operation did in two stages. First operation of colostomy closer on 28th Sept and after 2 months second operation of iliostomy closer did.Operation remains successful, there is no leakage. During my hospitalisation I experienced that Dr Vidyachandra Gandhi's nature is very kind, he takes care of patient on humanity ground.Dr Gandhi and His entire team of junior Doctor is also co-operative & behaves friendly, explains our doubts, takes care of patient by responding in a good way at any time. After discharge, on one Sunday morning I feel uneasy, I called to Dr Gandhi. He immediately responded and asked me to come to emergency ward. He came there immediately and given me treatment. this shows kind and serving nature of Dr Gandhi towards patient. I am very much thankful to him and to his junior Dr's team. My best wishes to them
