Dr. Lakshmi Kalbande has been a practicing Obstetrician and Gynaecologist since 2015 with over a decade of experience in managing High risk pregnancies including Elderly gravidas, Placenta Previa, Gestational Diabetes and Pregnancy induced Hypertension. She has managed a number of cases wherein prevention of preterm labour led to avoidance of NICU stay for the baby . She is also skilled in fertility procedures such as ovulation monitoring and IUI (Intrauterine Insemination ) . She has a fellowship in Gynaecological and obstetric ultrasound from Bangalore (FOGSI recognized), leading to a one step diagnosis of ovarian cysts , endometriosis, Fibroids , polyps , etc which are some common causes of irregular and painful periods .She has also conducted extensive research on Epidural analgesia for normal delivery and is very passionate about the same
