I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Chinmay Umarji, Dr. Mukta Umarji, Dr. Saburi Kulkarni, and the entire staff of Umarji Mother & Child Care Hospital.

When we decided to conceive, we were specifically looking for a doctor who genuinely promotes natural birthing, especially in a time when many doctors tend to push for C-sections even without medical emergencies. We came across Dr. Chinmay’s reference on Reddit, and choosing him turned out to be one of the best decisions we made.

We have been associated with this hospital right from the time of conception, and our experience throughout the journey has been truly exceptional. Dr. Chinmay is extremely patient, calm, ************** and supportive. He strongly believes in a minimal-intervention approach, which gave us immense confidence and peace of mind.

Beyond treatment, he takes the time to educate patients on every aspect of pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting. ** ****** *********** *********** *** **** *** **** *** *********** ********** ** ************** The free “Listening Clinic” organized every Saturday is a wonderful initiative by Dr. Chinmay, where patients are educated on pregnancy, child health, and parenting-related topics.

During my wife’s delivery, the doctors at Umarji Hospital continuously encouraged her to go for a normal delivery. Even though the labor lasted nearly 60 hours, at no point were we pressured into opting for a C-section or made to feel anxious unnecessarily. The hospital’s policy of allowing a birthing partner inside the labor room provided tremendous emotional support during this challenging phase.

The hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, enabling the team to provide top-notch care. Thanks to the expertise and dedication of the doctors and staff, my wife was able to deliver our baby naturally, even though the baby had a loop of umbilical cord around his neck.

In the 7th month of pregnancy we were searching a hospital for delivery, till now we had discussions with few famous hospitals which were also recommended by regular consultant BUT we were not satisfied the way they have promoted C-section delivery along with their NICU facility!!!!

We continued our search online for suitable hospital there only we got to know about Umarji Mother and Child Care Hospital, There were no any relevant references, we only gone through Google and Practo reviews and decided to visit the hospital. Our 1st experience with Dr. Chinmay was nice, he is very friendly, he will address all your queries patiently, will explain everything in detail, his suggestions makes sense and especially you will feel relax which is most important during these days.!

After that we continued to visit Umarji hospital for upcoming follow ups, we used to travel from other corner of city (35 km to & fro) for every week checkup and was all worth it! As we delivered a healthy baby boy through normal delivery at Umarji mother & child care hospital , Baner. with two major conditions 1) Potty 2 ) Cord around the Neck (and you know these are the most common reasons for C-section delivery in India)

Our experience pre and Post delivery was far better than expected. We think it is one of the Great hospital in Pune who promotes natural birth, our personal experience is very satisfactory.

The policy of hospital to allow the husband to be with his wife during the delivery is awesome! We had experience this which was really amazing (it also represent the transparency and true efforts of doctors).

In this era of corruption, it was genuine experience we had here, we just hope the hospital care and culture keeps excelling and set an example for all other hospitals out there.

I wanted to go for normal delivery as it insures better health and immunity for mother and child. Also, I wished to take care of my baby from the day one, which is possible with normal delivery. I visited Dr. Chinmay Umarji after reading reviews on google, but when I met him I was sure that the doctor is not just following best medical practices but he is very much concerned about spreading awareness which is very much needed in our society. I was amazed to experience the concept of birthing partner. I was all time accompanied by my mother which gave me tremendous strength throughout the process. As of now I have only heard of the concept of birthing partner but at Umarji Hospital I experienced the joy. My experience did not just stop at delivery process but aftercare provided was very good right from explaining the importance of Breastfeeding, health care after delivery for mother as well as baby was a great experience. The hospital is having huge team of doctors, nurses and other staff with best possible canteen facilities even during covid situation. All the doctors are very good with similar mindset as Dr. Chinmay. One more very important thing about this hospital is that it is equipped for almost every emergencies and facilities, we never had to go anywhere for any issue during and after delivery. We are fortunate to find this hospital well within time. Also, the hospital is very good with every parameter such as cleanliness, nurses assistance etc. One more very important thing about the doctor is that he conducts regular webinar about different types of delivery, pros and cons of it, how to prepare for delivery, aftercare and many more important issues where he shares important information all this taking out considerable time from his busy schedule. only thing that can be added to existing facilities is a wall clock in patient’s room.
