A soft tissue mass was observed at rectouterine pouch in an ultrasound report. We were very much concerned; CT SCAN and MRI was performed. We wanted to meet an oncosurgeon to understand what should be the future course of action. We consulted Dr. Anup Tamhankar and he explained that CT guided biopsy will help to diagnose and further treat it. After CT guided biopsy and immunohistochemistry report he informed us that it is ovarian cancer. The way he explained us and addressed all our concerns, of course some of the queries were silly bit still he answered all those queries calmly. He also explained that we can come out of it with chemotherapy. He handled our case nicely and provided us guidance as and when it was required. The way he explained the overall course of action, *** ***** ********* **** ******** ** ***** ******. A true support, care and empathy for cancer patient.
