Dr. A G Unnikrishnan

I visited Dr unnikrishnan 2 times till now for my problem of thyroid. He starts the session with a very friendly approach and makes his patient comfortable and listens to patients problems and history calmly.He was the first dr. i came across who did not makes us feel he is busy and doesn't have time when he is a senior most dr. in the hospital. A very gentle and soft spoken dr. with loads of experience and who do not prescribe medicines if necessary. He not only takes proper follow up but also keeps a personal connection with his patients. i will definitely recommend him.

It was our first visit. Dr. Monie Sinon (Junior Dr.) is very good in her job. carefully hears the problem, asks for history and accordingly prepares the diagnosis. She explains everything very well so that we could understand it. Dr. Unnikrushnan is very friendly & easy going. He clearly understands patient concern and treats very generously. He doesn't prescribe unnecessary medications or tests. when we told him we would not be in the country, so he went step ahead in his kindness and told us to write him back whenever needed and assure us to help and guide even far away. I would definitely recommend him.

We (Me and my husband) visited Chellaram Hospital for my severely high TSH levels. Dr. A G Unnikrishnan was very friendly and took his time to assess the situation. First a lady doctor met me and took notes about all my previous history. She was very professional and calming by nature. I was very stressed regarding my health condition but She and Dr. A. G Unnikrishnan explained the issue in detail and I felt quite relieved after meeting them. They told us to take the medicines and come after 6 weeks with new test reports. They did not even force us to do any test in their own Hospital which many Doctors I have seen doing. I told him that I had already taken 2-3 tablets of the medication as I had taken consultation with another doctor as well and he adjusted by dosage accordingly. Even though he is a very senior doctor he was not in any hurry. I felt the higher price that I paid for his consultation was completely worth it. I would definitely recommend him. I have started my treatment and hoping to see some positive results.
