Being a practiced sports physician, I was tempted to reach out to him for my problems with marathon training. He looked at my feet, my shoe insoles, asked me to stand up and voila! A very crisp explanation he gave to me was that I had a bigger arch and a wider forefoot which was getting restricted and pressurised within the shoe. An arch support (he showed me the exact one he wanted me to get!) and some wise advice was all he gave and I walked out feeling silly and happy that it was nothing serious (He warned me not to be too ambitious and get injured though. Instead he asked me to consistently, gradually get better.)
I had no waiting time, the doctor gave a proper diagnosis, and maintained a professional approach throughout the visit.
