Dr. Madhuri Burande Laha

I just wanted to share our experience throughout our pregnancy journey. Last week we are blessed with baby boy. Both mother and baby are doing well.

We randomly googled good doctor near kharadi and found Dr Madhuri Laha. I still remember the day when we visited for the first time for our pregnancy check up. Our initial experience was not good as she talks very less and just focus on what is needed for both mother and baby. She is extremely professional in her work. We thought let's try for couple of visit and if we could not connect to the doctor we will change. But Thankfully we did not. We got to know her gradually the way she works. She is very straight forward and focus on the real issues what is needed. During our 36 weeks we got early labour pain at night, and we visited doctor in the morning. The first thing she asked "why we did not come at night? Why did you dealy" we got scared but she understood and supported us that not to panic, and she suggested to admit for 2 days until pain reduced as baby was not considered as full term and delay it to 37 week.

Then next week we got admitted for delivery and we are lucky that we have chosen C section over normal.

Earlier our opinion for C section was very wrong. We thought it will be painful and stiches will be there and scars will be there and back pain will be there etc. etc.

Today we came for Seizure removal and believe me there was literally no sign of any C section. And no pain at all. It was quite clean.

At the end I would like to say that we are blessed that we have chosen Dr Madhuri Laha as our Gynecologist throughout our Journey and suggest for others for a smooth pregnancy journey.

Dr. Madhuri Laha has been an incredible support throughout my entire pregnancy journey. From the very beginning, she ensured that both my physical health and emotional well-being were equally cared for. Pregnancy can be overwhelming, especially with the countless questions and anxieties that come with it, but Dr. Laha was always patient, approachable, and reassuring.

What truly sets her apart is her willingness to listen without any judgement—whether the questions were serious concerns or small, seemingly trivial doubts. She takes the time to explain everything in detail, ensuring that you fully understand your condition, options, and the reasoning behind every recommendation. Her transparency and straightforward communication built a great deal of trust and comfort for me during this important phase.

Beyond her medical expertise, her calm and supportive presence made a significant difference during moments of uncertainty. It is rare to find a doctor who combines clinical excellence with such genuine empathy.

It was a smooth and wonderful experience of 9 months with Dr Madhuri Laha Ma'am. Her approach of treatment in each trimester was distinct and very logical. I realised it in my second pregnancy that diet for two has actually zero sense and apparently just a myth. Thank you ma'am.

Dr. Madhuri Laha has delivered both of my babies, and both were normal deliveries, which itself speaks a lot about her experience and capability as a gynaecologist.

During my wife’s pregnancy, we faced a serious complication around the third month due to cervical shortening and heavy bleeding. Dr. Laha advised cerclage at the right time and strictly guided us through the rest of the pregnancy. Because of her correct judgement and adherence to protocols, my wife was able to deliver the baby normally at 39 weeks. We are genuinely thankful for her expertise.

She is very strong in her medical practice a** ******* ****** ********* ******* ****** *********** ****** She clearly focuses more on outcomes and safety than on comforting words.

However, she is very strict, and there is hardly any empathetical tone while talking to pregnant women. Even the junior doctor who takes the history follows the same approach. If you ask questions just to understand things better, you may not always get detailed explanations. This could be because the clinic is always very busy with many patients.

At times, it may feel that a lot of tests are being prescribed, and yes, they can be expensive. But after experiencing a high-risk situation ourselves, I strongly feel that it is better to trust the doctor and be cautious rather than regret later.

Overall, Dr. Madhuri Laha is a highly experienced and result-oriented doctor. If you are someone who can trust the process and follow instructions strictly, *** **** ********** ** ** **** ******

We had a wonderful experience with Madhuri Laha with my twin’s pregnancy. We started our journey with Madhuri Laha from 3rd month of pregnancy. She guided us very well throughout the pregnancy. Because of her support, my twin’s pregnancy journey completed without any major complications.

I highly recommend Madhuri Mam. Me and my wife had a wonderful experience with Madhuri Mam. Was really worried and confused to pick the correct gynaecologist at initial stage but few colleagues referred us to Madhuri Mam *** * ****** ******* *** ***** ** *** ** **** *** ***** *** ******** ** *** ***** *****We really liked the way Mam conveyed everything in each and every phase of our Pregnancy journey. Had continuous follow ups with her and she also suggested multiple good things related to health, diet etc.We had a smooth period till 33 weeks but suddenly my wife's liver enzymes triggered and it restricted the growth with initially started with continuous loose motion and vomitting and we had to get admitted. We were really afraid about the baby health and was thinking negatively all the time but the way Madhuri Mam and her team handled our case was extraordinary. She initiated an injection also keeping the delivery kn mind if it comes early and lastly we discharged without any issues and she also suggested liver specialist to handle our case where I got full support from Madhuri Mam.Me and my wife are genuinely very grateful that we got Madhuri Mam as our gynaecologist.I also had a wonderful guidance from Dr Manoj Pawar and Dr Ritika and all other staffs.Everyone is very helpful and supportive to whomever I had a connect with.

Our pregnancy was very complicated, which Dr. Madhuri had already anticipated. She took it as a challenge and guided us with immense confidence and compassion. During delivery, we faced a critical situation involving excessive blood loss due to a rare complication where the mother’s womb was injured because of one baby’s leg. It was an extremely serious condition, and thanks to Dr. Madhuri’s quick thinking, sharp decision-making, and years of experience, she immediately took the right steps to save my wife’s life. Her calm approach and timely decision to perform surgery at the crucial moment made all the difference.

Note: My story is going to be long as I had long journey with her with high risk pregnancy, so I am writing summary of my story first for those who just want feedback of Dr madhuri and not interested in my story.

Summary: Dr madhuri laha is best to help you prepare for conceiving by recommending right diagnosis test and medicine.

2) Recommend **** medicine based on current and future risks.

3) Takes extra care and quick to respond on wattsapp/ call for emergency (especially during lockdown )

4) Recommend and help in urgent appointment with other specialists if required.

5) Discuss the case personally with other specialists available outside hospital if required.

6) personally check/ call you( in case of high risks) to ensure everything is going well as per plan.

7) Help you to understand financial involved and with discount on medicine if possible.

My Story: I was working with IT COMPANY for around good 11 years and was unconceiously leaving highly stressed life. I was in mid 30s when I left my job started planning family. After planning for ,3-4 months I visited her told my story.

Because of my age she advised us how and when we can

proceed and alternatives in case first step didn't work.

As first step she advised us to try based on follicular study .

We were able to conceive but aborted naturally.

She motivated us that natural abortion is not bad but good for us. It helps us to avoid late pregnancy problem or any other defect in fetus and asked to wait for 3-4 months (because of age factor) and try again.

We waited for 3 months , she recommended some medicine to avoid early abortion.

We conceived again after 2-3 months with twins. It was a mono do twin pregnancy which is highly risky.

She recommended all possible medicine and diagnosis to avoid/ handle risks at later stage.

During second trimester ultrasound showed some complications to second baby which as per our sonographer was normal in such pregnancies. I got gestational diabetes as well. She recommended me **** medicine to her knowledge to overcome the risk and stretch

My delivery as long as possible.

During 31st week I got some Gastroenterology troubles as well. All of these made my pregnancy a high risk pregnancy.

Instead of handling my gestro issues herself she asked me to concult a Gastroenterologist. But due to lockdown no doctor was available.she requested dr Nisha to assist me on wattsapp. On her request dr Nisha assisted me on wattsapp , recommended me relevant tests and medicine. She was also quick in replying. Dr Laha personally discussed my case with her on daily basis ( based on daily tests). Prepared me for early delivery and tried her best to stretch my delivery as much as possible based on my daily sonography and gastro tests reports and also consulting with sonographer and Gastroenterologist.

In between I was required to go for one abdomen ultrasound which was not available in motherhood hospital and outside sonographer were not doing any tests without prescription. Due to lockdown I didn't had written prescription, she helped me in this situation as well by requesting outside sonographer.

When required she used to call me personally to explain what is the current status and how far we can stretch to limit NICU stay.

She tried her best to stretch my pregnancy till 34th week . But I was too scared to take further risk.Finally on 33rd wee she delivered my twins. Now my babies are 3 months old and in good health.

In my opinion she is best. She gave me her best both professionally (with her speciality) and personally (by consulting other specialists whenever required).

P.S: many people says she is not friendly but I will say she is too busy to gossip. She is out spoken which she should be. After all it's doctor's responsibility to tell you all the risks and risks can't be sweet and sugar coated.
