Dr. Mamta Sahu

Started consulting mamta mam when decided to plan a baby, tests reported low AMH which was very disheartening at my age.However she started the treatment and asked to have faith on god. It took approx. 1 year ,following the medications prescribed by her and good practices(nourished diet and physical health) ,the journey was obviously full of challenges.

During the pregnancy also i felt mam suggested the minimum required medicines and tests. She likes to investigate every observation keenly to eradicate even a smallest complication possible. During third trimester checkups, she was positively indicating for normal delivery. Just followed all her advise which led to normal vaginal delivery for me.

Overall very satisfied with her way of addressing issues with bare minimum medicines and tests.She talks to the point and keeps discussions short and crisp.

PS : I am a little late in writing it my delivery was in august 2019, I hope mam will recognize me.

One of the best things about her is that she prescribe very less medicines. Even though she has Ultrasound and blood testing facility available right at her clinic, she only prescribes them when it is necessary. She is very straightforward and never sugar coat things and may be that's the reason some people find her rude. But the real reason is that she cares her patients a lot and that's why when they make a silly mistake, she gets angry sometimes. I visited Dr. Mamta for my first pregnancy check up. All was going fine with me until 16 weeks when suddenly I encountered spotting. Dr. Mamta handled my situation very generously and advised me thoroughly. Every other month( 6-8), I used to have pains which was different than the previous month and I used to rush to her. She handled those situations very well too. During my delivery, I had a rare case of adherent placenta and my baby's head size was also big. I had a normal delivery and I got more stitches than the usual but She performed it with utmost care and efficiency that I hardly had any pains down there post delivery. I delivered a healthy baby girl of 3.3 kg on August 13, 2018. I would strongly recommend Dr. Mamta.

We are 100% satisfied with Dr Mamta. She is very highly professional and friendly at the same time. The most satisfactory thing is her personal touch while treating the patients. Some of the points which might be helpful for any couple are listed below.

- First, she described everything to us very well. She explained everything in layman language which was easy for us to understand.

- She doesn't just want to earn money. She has her own ultrasound machine and has a pathology representative at her clinic but she never prescribes unnecessary tests. She even refused to do ultrasound a couple of times saying it wasn't necessary. I have heard from friends and family that doctors do a lot of ultrasounds during pregnancy but she just did whenever it was necessary.

- After a couple of visits, she started calling us by our name and remembered what we had discussed in our last visit to her which is really great considering she is so much busy.

- She doesn't prescribe unnecessary medicines or supplements even if we ask for it. She just keeps it simple and effective.

Overall, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

It was an unplanned pregnancy and my wife and me opted for MTP at 6 weeks and 5 days ,the doctor did the procedure even when she observed a cist ( she said cist can be teated late) and without cardiac activity. It became a case of cist rupture ,multiple perforations in uturus and one ovary started bleeding .Appendix became infected as well and was removed.

We visited Dr Mamta through out our pregnancy term and were very happy. She is friendly and professional and we felt reassured each time we visited her.

Below are some points from our experience, but most of all she made us feel comfortable and confident-

1. She calmly answered all our questions on each visit. Even when there were many patients waiting.

2. She even remembered what problems we were facing earlier and asked about them on subsequent visits. It was great to see such personal care despite her busy schedule.

3. She is not money minded at all. Many times she refused ultra sound saying there is no need. Some of our friends were pregnant around the same period and were spending a lot more.

4. She doesn't prescribe lots of unnecessary supplements compared to other doctors. She only prescribed which were really needed.

5. She tries her best for normal delivery.

6. Since we lived a bit far, sometimes we had to call her. She always took our calls or called back and guided us.

Politely handle the negative situation as some have some pregnancy problem. She is highly educated and proffessional in work and attitude. She will not call you every time just for gaining income and handles some problem telephonic. She prepares her patient for normal delivery. Her clinic is equiped with ultrasound machine and tests, in some visits she undergo with ultrasound to check the baby growth and would not charge anything for it, unless consultancy.

We started referring her when wife was 3 months pregnant and her clinic was very close to my home where we moved in to recently. From the first meeting itself we felt that she was very understanding and gave ample time to listen to the patient. She gave very good advice and always provided the reasoning behind any course of treatment or medicine. She was the one who helped and motivated my wife for a normal delivery. The delivery was done by her at Apollo Hospital Noida and we were blessed with a baby girl. All I can say that I will always be grateful to her for her help and guidance.

We had a great experience with Mamta Sahoo Mam. She is a wonderful doctor. She take care of her patients in a very good manner. If i talk about medicines , she does not prescribe too many medicines even if you ask for. Rather she will provide a homely solution for somethings which do not even require medicines. We consulted her for our first baby and we are very happy with all her efforts that she put into. My wife had a normal delivery which is the best part .

She always explains your situation point to point in a very friendly manner , that feels very good to patients. Also she never forces a patient to have unnecessary medicines or supplement.

She always tries for a Normal delivery . She waits for it and tries to deliver the baby normally if that is possible. Never forces you for unnecessary Operations.
