As a PCOD patient, I was continuously gaining weight, was diagnosed with pre-diabetes (HbA1c - 5.80%) post COVID, and my Thyroid levels reached 6.58. I also used to feel lethargic most of the time. Basically i visited Itu mam for diabetes and uric acid issue.I took her diet for almost 1.5-2 weeks and then had to leave because my chacha got hospitalised due to covid but it came to my surprise that when i got my test done my hba1c went from 6.1 to 5.9 with 1.5-2 week which i believe is very difficult as it takes atleast a month wherein you start seeing the difference in your values but because of Itu mam’s diet my reports turned in favour of my health.I also have uric acid issues in which we have to abstain from takin protein diet but still she included protein diet in such a way that my uric acid is also on a downward trend and also to mention that her diet is not at all monotonous rather she gives you such a diet that you will not even feel that you are on a diet plan.I am still continuing with her diet plan as i am at my utmost level of satisfaction as far as my parameters are concerned.

I never thought I can loose so much of weight by following strict diet along with some exercise. Ms. Etu has been exceptional, She understands the problem areas of your internal body and suggests diet chart accordingly. The other good thing is chart comes week basis rather than daily so it is easy to follow.

The diet chart has hardly anything which cant be followed in a day to day routine. Its almost everything which is available in house, so I had to make little efforts to follow it.

The other best part is she provides different forms of videos for exercise. Last year I bought treadmill and it didnt really help in reducing weight however with the ones shared by Ms. Etu, I find that I wasted money on treadmill. I just need to spend 1 hr daily on those and those are so easy and basic to follow.

I think I have wasted my time over there. In consultation, I have mentioned to her all the problems that I am facing, and she just took my weight and told me that it will take a long time, like 6 months or so, to feel better, and that her package cost is Rs. 15,000 for 2 months, and the cost is the same for all her patients. Basically, every person has a fixed budget, and one day prior to meeting her, I called her and even inquired about the package cost. At that time, she said that she would share the package details after I visited her. I mean, if the package is fixed for everyone, then she could have told me over the call itself so that I could also think about it, and if I feel comfortable with that, then only I will visit her. It would have saved my time as well as hers.

Before meeting her, I consulted other dieticians as well, and all of them were very transparent about their package costs. They have mentioned everything over the call, like what diet I need to follow, how they will help me, and what their package charges are. They have not even taken consultation charges for the same, so before meeting them in person, I can decide if I can go ahead with them, and here I have given consultation charges just to know about her package charges.

 Even if the exact package could not be shared over call, at least the approximate figure can be shared so that people can decide whether or not to visit.
