My father (age 70Y) visited Dr. Neevita to get a hearing device with tinnitus masking feature. He was diagnosed with Unilateral Peripheral Vestibulopathy ** *** ** *** **** *** ********** ** ****** During his first visit, instead of straightaway providing what is asked for (Hearing Aid), Dr. Neevita conducted a series of tests. Mind that the tests are necessary to know the real cause of suffering. When she doubted over the previous diagnosis, she advised to have a joint consultation with Dr. Ameet Kishore **** **** *** ************

In the joint consultation, they spent around an hour doing tests, examining patient's conditions and asking detailed questions. At the end, it surfaced that his feeling of 'uneasiness' had been misinterpreted as 'chakkar' in the previous diagnosis. We didnt realise the difference and importance of these two words. The previous doctor had considered a vertigo type condition based on patient's statement without self verification and had recommended for vestibular rehabilitation in addition to hearing aid. Dr. Neevita and Dr. Ameet's diagnosis revealed the real problem was not vertigo but it was just tinnitus only. And then they prescribed and provided suitable hearing aid.

I am really glad that we consulted Dr. Neevita on time, else the treatment would had gone into the wrong direction.

Both Dr. Neevita and Dr. Ameet are very experienced, humble, genuine and real professionals. They truly want to help patient. Hard to find such genuine doctors these days. Thank you

Consultation with doctor was ok. But the overall professionalism at the clinic was missing big time. Their team was focusing on getting customer and misguided with the charge they said I would have to get on a formal 30-40 min assessment as part of consultation charging 800, but at clinic after paying for consultation they asked me to pay 2000 additional for the assessment. which I had clearly clarified before I went for the consultation.

Eventually I ended up paying for consultation without a concrete plan neither there was a follow up. So a thumbs down.

Der Neha, Thanks a lot for visiting our clinic, though it’s quite unfortunate that you did not understand our process on phone. May be the person who talked to you on phone couldn’t understand you well, which was anyway your primary complaint that you presented to us. Firstly, You had a 40 minute consultation with the senior most person in the Clinic, which was much longer than the standard 20 minute consultation. Based on that long consultation and discussion, the Clinician had already made a basic assessment of your concerns and problems, in order to chalk out the next action plan. During that consultation she made an assessment of your speech, and she felt that you did not seem to have obvious speech disorder except that your rate of speech was fast . We thus felt, that contrary to what you may have been advised elsewhere, You may NOT have required any speech therapy sessions after all ! Therefore, in order to save you from spending for an entire package of speech therapy, we recommended the next level of evaluation, which is a detailed speech analysis. This takes time and may take more than one or two sessions. I am sure you will appreciate that any further investigation has an associated cost. But in our opinion this was the scientific and logical way to help you, not only get the correct treatment , but also avoid you for paying for something that may not be necessary for you. Unfortunately, you probably did not understand our efforts, that by just letting us conduct this detail analysis and guiding you further, you may land up saving your own time and money, and avoiding unnecessary treatment. In addition, You were also informed that if after the speech analysis we discover that you infact do need treatment, then in that case we would adjust the charges of your speech analysis in the therapy treatment package ! Thus you would not have spent anything extra ! Hope I have clarified your doubts ! We are always happy to help.

I am 88 years old, retd as Joint Secretary to GOI and later ex- Advisor to Govt. Corporation (THDC).

Of late, I started having serious issues with my hearing aids and even my speech has been getting adversely affected while wearing it. I am very happy that Neevita has carried out a thorough hearing test and has quickly identified the problem. She has recalibrated the instrument to my full satisfaction. She and her staff have been extreme helpful and understanding. Neevita is no doubt highly competent and expert in the field of hearing and speech therapy..

Had issues regarding speech and problems in conversing. Very satisfied with the consultation provided by Neevita ma'am which helped me realize the mistakes in my speech. Also, even in this lockdown, regular sessions are being held to continue the therapy.
