Even though I had not known him before and he was consulting and advising me over the phone, he explained every little detail / symptoms to me. Not only that, he answered all my queries and cleared my doubts and made me feel positive and confident. Dr Ishan goes out of his way to make his patients feel positive and confident to face the medical condition. He is the ONLY doctor I know who calls back if in case he misses the call and he regularly checks on you to find out about our health.
Now that my husband and I have been detected COVID positive, Dr Ishan Thakkar is our ‘go to’ doctor. From the day 1 I started showing symptoms, he actually made me ready to face the medical challenge that lay ahead of me. So when my reports actually showed POSITIVE, mentally and emotionally I was prepared to take the virus head on. Medicines will work if we have the right mindset and attitude. Whenever we ring him up to ask our doubts about dosage of medicine etc. and he can't answer the phone due to some reason, he reverts back immediatly as soon as possible, which is a rare thing among the medical practisioners.
During the last days of my mother, Dr.Ishan helped me a lot. Irrespective of being very busy in his Covid duty he would attend my phone call and would solve the problem of my mother's health every day and at any time of the day.
